Excellent, competent, attentive, friendly staff, good food, decent portions. The hotel is in a quiet area, very easy to access from the motorway, and with a car park suitable for long glider trailers when it's not too busy. Next to the hotel car park is the large lorry park, so plenty of parking allround. Also some electric car charging spaces.
The bathroom looked a little tired, and one window had a note on it that it was defective. The window should be fixed, the bathroom could do with modernising. No mains sockets next to the beds. The outdoor seating area could be made a bit more attractive with some more plants but I appreciate that this is next door to a service station.
