What to expect:
Here you’ll find real life—wood, wind, sun, and the scent of freedom (and a bit of field soil).

Our construction trailer isn’t just a decorative piece—it stands in the middle of the Mecklenburg countryside, weather-beaten, charmingly crooked, and proud of every one of its scarred boards.

The wood bears traces: sun, rain, footprints, perhaps the imprint of a coffee cup. It’s marked by life—just like the person sitting on it. Right in front of it lies the realm of open space—an anarchic jumble of stalks, the pond, and tree-lined avenues that needs no plan to be perfect.
Interior
The perfect distraction: cooking, eating, heating, and switching off your brain—all in one room. The workshop stove provides genuine warmth, while the Wi-Fi connection ensures you can forget about nature outside for a while. (Chaos welcome, but please clean up before you leave.)
Open-Air Bath
The Open-Air Must: Take a shower under the sky. Is it blue? Wonderful. Is it raining? Also wonderful. Is the water cold? Also wonderful. (Boiler available)
Composting toilet
The Wood-Chip Manifesto: Our pride and joy! Works without water, just with LOVE and a steady supply of wood chips. Anyone who doesn’t understand the principle will fail here. (You know the drill: NO WATER!).

For kids: 5,000 m² property (park-like), 3.7 m trampoline, swings, cats, chickens, table tennis.


Here’s another important note: The terrace is located about 2 m above the "field." During fieldwork, there may be some disturbances. Since fieldwork depends on the weather, we can’t give an exact schedule. During harvest season, work also takes place at night or on weekends.

Rediscovering the slow life
Even on the stormy day of our arrival, it was clear: this nature lover’s retreat is incredibly secluded.... 3 logs for one day with evening temperatures around 10°C... Pure coziness by candlelight and wine!... Views of nature, deer, owls, chickens, geese, and cranes migrating south. Thanks to harvest season, we were able to enjoy apples, pears, and elderberries from the Bergmann family’s garden.
Refreshed and in high spirits, we took a playful approach to "outdoor hygiene" and awarded "outdoor points" for washing, showering, and brushing our teeth (outdoors!!!). It definitely wakes up even the last slumbering spark of life and keeps you fit ;-)
There’s always something to do and see: bike rides through forests, fields, and meadows; visiting villages (with their artists) and charming towns like Wismar or Schwerin; reading, reading, reading; and, of course, strolling along the Baltic Sea beaches.
We really enjoyed our time there!
