It is a peaceful location, lovely grounds to walk, excellent hospitality from the staff.
Rooms had character, entire hotel had character from the 19th century.

Die Anlage ist äußerst gepflegt und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die ökologische und nachhaltige Haltung der Eigentümer, die sich in vielen Details widerspiegelt. Vom Pool hat man einen großartigen Blick und er ist groß genug, um entspannt (kleine) Bahnen zu schwimmen.
Da wir in der Betriebsferienzeit dort waren, können wir den regulären Betrieb mit Fokus auf Wanderurlauber nicht beurteilen. Wir haben jedoch die Ruhe sehr genossen und konnten wunderbar entspannen.
Die kleine Küche ist bewusst reduziert ausgestattet, dennoch vollkommen ausreichend für unsere Bedürfnisse (Frühstück und eine warme Mahlzeit am Tag).
Zunächst waren wir wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen etwas unsicher, aber dank der Entfernung ist er kaum störend. Man hört die startenden und landenden Flugzeuge meist nur leise und nimmt sie nach kurzer Zeit gar nicht mehr wahr.
