About this house rental
It's all about the water views at this Sagamore Highland Beach home. This property is equipped with many desirable amenities including new central air conditioning, wireless internet, 70 inch smart flat screen tv with apple television and 4 bedrooms with 4 full bathrooms. This spacious home has a large deck with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the ever changing water views. Have your morning coffee in the contemplation garden while gazing at Cape Cod Bay. Take a stroll on the grounds and watch the sunset over the bay.
As you enter the house there are stairs that opens to the living area. The living room has seating for four. To the right of the living room is the first bedroom with a queen bed and a wonderful view of the Bay. To the left is the large dining room with seating for eight. Through the hall you can enter the well equipped kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. For those coffee lovers there is a Java Drip Coffee maker. Continue on and around the corner you will find the breakfast table. There is a wall of windows along the back of the house where you can enjoy the stunning water views.
As you continue up the stairs to the second floor you enter the media room where you will find an enormous Smart Television with a sonos sound system and apple tv. Through the media room you will find the master bedroom (queen) with en suite bathroom with tub and shower. Enjoy your own balcony with unobstructed views of the bay every morning when you wake. On the other side of the media room is yet another bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom with a shower.
On the third floor is the last bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower.
Off the kitchen you will find the side door that takes you to the oversized deck. There you will find two comfortable seating areas and a large table with seating for six. The backyard is great for outdoor barbecuing with a view. The gardens that surround the deck have several seating areas where you can enjoy the spectacular views. The property has a contemplation garden perfect for those looking to reflect, read or rest.
Four houses down is the neighborhood beach path with approximately 50 stairs to the beautiful private beach. Enjoy morning walks along the beach or an afternoon dip in the Bay. Plymouth and all the wonderful restaurants and attractions are 15-20 minutes away. Additional fees: $220 non-refundable reservation fee; $30 damage protection fee (no security deposit required); guest services fee; all applicable taxes

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique home . You can tell that it has been well loved over the years by someone who has travelled the world over . The kitchen was well equipped with high end cookwear and every gadget imaginable. There are 3 separate dining areas including a fabulous outdoor set up - the grill was also excellent-a step up from most rentals . We enjoyed our cocktails outside on the comfy Frontgate furniture while listening to our tunes on the Sonos system . The bedrooms were spacious with crisp cotton linens on comfortable beds -especially the master with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous beach . We also loved the convenient location of this home before the Bourne bridge on one of the most gorgeous Cape beaches . This house has some really interesting gardens that with the right landscaping could really bring it over the top . Having said all of this if you are looking for a “ run of the mill” typical rental this house might not be for you . If you are looking for an interesting home with spectacular views - don’t miss it !

Great location with gorgeous views

We were two senior women who stayed for the whole week and a third friend stayed for a few days. We also had two small dogs.
1. We were given an incorrect passcode to access wifi
2. The house was dirty
3. No drip coffee maker
4. The owner's belongings were in closets, bureaus, cabinets, drawers with signs "not for renters"
5. It took 2 days to find an incomplete notebook that contained information about the house.
6. My friend who slept in the first floor bedroom ended up with bedbug bites over the upper half of her body!
7. We were told all 4 beds were queen. Not true. The master bedroom has a king.
That’s only the inside of the house and only some of the issues we found there.
Outdoors was another world!
Positives:
1. The outdoor space was the best part of the property, expansive and wonderful for the dogs.
2. The deck had a sofa and a few chairs which were comfortable to sit in and enjoy the views and the breeze!
3. There was a table to sit at on a lightly graveled ground.
4. There was a huge umbrella which protected a large expanse of the table area.
5. There was a very nice outdoor shower.
6. I brought my zero gravity chair and used it on graveled ground.
Negatives:
1. The back half of the deck was unusable. There was the grill that had never been cleaned after its last use so you could see all the food still stuck to it. Gross!
2. There were large pots with plants randomly placed on that part of the deck. Nothing was usable back there.
3. The chairs around the table had rotting legs. My friend fell off a chair whose leg broke off.
4. The outdoor space was so overgrown, it clearly had not been pruned or cut back in years!
5. The picture of the path going to the beach was not honest. The path is very long and looks very treacherous. The picture was taken down the path and not from the top.
We would never return to this house. Too many issues every day that made it frustrating. BUT, we had great beach views!
