La Casa Sulla Scogliera

We had a wonderful stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. One side of the apartment overlooks the sea, offering beautiful sunsets every evening, while the other side has stunning views of the valley and the mountains. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also excellent. He was always quick to respond to our messages, answered all of our questions, and gave us helpful advice whenever we needed it.

The only thing that bothered us a little was the weak mobile signal and internet connection inside the apartment. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

Book this apartment!!! You really won’t regret it. Feel so lucky we got to stay here for the week (we booked fairly last minute at the end of June). The two balconies have the most beautiful views: one large one overlooking the Duomo and another right out over the sea. Both are reasonable sizes and perfect for sunbathing or sitting in the shade, having a spot of lunch or drinking your morning coffee to the sound of birds over the cathedral. We really couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived! You’re also out of the hustle and bustle of the town and away from the main beach - which was perfect for us, we walked down to the rocks below and swam there everyday, which was so wonderful. It’s a glorious spot and we really felt like we had the best apartment in town (for a very reasonable price too).

Hardly major down points, just things to note if you’re booking to be aware of: the room itself is quite small (although we spent 80% of our time outside anyway, so was a comfortable place to sleep). It would be great to have a couple of extra cooking utensils (mugs or cheese grater, for example), as we tried to make the most of having the amazing outdoor space and made food in the flat quite a few times. The main supermarket is about 25 min walk away (Deco Gourmet - well worth a visit in itself, delicious produce!) - there is access to smaller fruit & veg sellers not too far from the flat, and a man who comes up the road selling from a truck, but they are a little pricier and only simple fruit and veg. And the flat is up four flights of stairs but helps keep you fit! :)

La vue de l'appartement est splendide. Nous espérions une belle vue, nous avons été plus que comblés. Le logement était calme et très bien situé. Les propriétaires ont laissé des parasols à disposition, c'est une très bonne idée, ils nous ont été très utile. Cefalù est une ville magnifique.

Le cable de la télé était cassé donc pas en fonctionnement. De plus, le réseau wifi était très faible. Certaines serviettes avaient quelques traces.
