Citrus House

De fijne ruimte, heerlijke bedden, goede airco, mooie locatie, en een zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse.

De (slaap-) bank is zeer oncomfortabel.

Superquiet spot. Lovely, clean and comfortable

The overall experience staying in Citrus House in Kefalonia was amazing. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. There are two pillow choices. Sheets and towels are replaced every three days. The bathrooms are stocks with soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper. In the kitchen you will find vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, Greek coffee and espresso capsules. We were greeted with a basket of local produce, fruits, jams, honey, toast, cookies, there was wine and a bottle of cold water. Everything is arranged to make you feel relaxed and truly on a holiday, The house is well positioned, just outside Argostoli, to make day trips around the island if with a car and have evenings out in the capital. Eleni is one of the best hosts we had over so many years in Greece. She is very kind, attentive, warm and welcoming. As is her sister who met us upon arrival as Eleni had prior engagements, I wish to thank both of them for quickly arranging a doctor to come to the house when my husband was not feeling well. They saved us a lot of stress, and they saved our holiday. I highly recommend the place.

Citrus House was an exceptional accommodation for our holiday in Kefalonia. It is situated right outside of Argostoli in a nice and quiet area, right outside of the tourtist zone. The house is beautifully made (and seems new), decorated with very good taste and attention to details (the beds are very comfy also). The view from the terrace is amazing, it makes you feel like you are in a movie. The host, Eleni, was really friendly and welcoming. She was also very hospitable, providing all sorts of useful things (dishwasher capsules, laundry detergent, cold water already in the fridge, assortments of gems and biscuits, etc). Eleni was also very careful with our needs and always responded very promptly. Additionally, staying in Argostoli has allowed us to easily visit beaches on all sides of the island. It was a pleasure to stay at Citrus.
