Aadelheide Family Apartments

Super nice location next to the riverfront promenade and marina, 10 min walk from the main street in Old Town. Great views to the river and backyard. Yacht Club restorant has nice not touristy menu. Special bonus was a gymnastic wall ladder, great for streching after a long day on feet. 5 min walk to the scultupture park next to the Tervis Health SPA. Parking in the courtyard was helpful (the location is in paid street parking zone). NB! The apartment is on the 2nd floor, access by steep staircase - might prove a challenge for persons with mobility issues.

The landlord/lady were very friendly. It was possible to use outdoor facilities (to have breakfast on the balcony, kids used the trampoline, there was a lso a grill). The location is relatively good, close to the river and central city.

The facilities were really bad. While it was mentioned in the advertisement, but the lack of the washing machine was really disturbing us. (We did not expect all the rain that made clothes wet etc.) No airconditioning - the first night it was too hot, we had luckily taken a strong fan with us but it only helped so much; we found it difficult to sleep with the heat. No dishwasher. No decent coffee machine (only filter coffee). The location was good for center but actually quite far from the beach. Unrelated small problem - we did not find out how to lock the restroom from inside. As such, the apartment is too expensive. As priority, they need an airconditioner and a washing machine.
