Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Die Lage ist sensationell, Farol und Praia do Norte gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wie praktisch alle Häuser dort gibt es zwar keine Heizung, aber einen beheizbaren Handtuchhalter, so dass man auch bei schlechtem Wetter kein Problem mit dem Trocknen hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Immaculate location. Close to all amenities and funicular if you wish to visit the town under. 10min walk to Praia do Norte.

The view from the apartment was great.

We booked a place for 4 nights, but we spent only 1. It was hard to find the location at first, but we managed. The weather was super windy and rainy and we got soaking wet. And we simply couldn’t dry our clothes, because the place was so cold and the level of moisture was insane - in bathroom water was dripping from the walls to the floors, towels had no chance to get dry and it was very cold. The bed felt also moist. I understand, that owners have no control of the weather, but taking into account the location of the apartment they could have thought on how to deal with cold and moisture. We decided to leave after 1 nights because we were worried that we might get cold and the idea of coming back with cough from you vacation didn’t seem attractive at all. I told the owner that we are leaving and they can keep the money, but asked them to cancel the reservation, so that I can book something else for us and so that someone else can rent their place. They refused and started blaming on me, that it was my choice to leave. A big big disappointment.
