Noice isolation at night....you can hear other guest passing and talking while trying to sleep. WiFi : was not present/active Television: regularly bad signal which made it impossible to watch a movie

Very pleasant hotel in a handy location

A very pleasant, attractive hotel, combining a traditional farmhouse with modern amenities. Ample, easy parking. Comfortable rooms and a lovely terrace for relaxing in the evenings. Quiet, surprisingly rural surroundings. Perfect as a base for exploring the area by car or bike.

Too little for too much money

Enormously big and clean room, but unfortunately with a foot-height window. Nice location near apple ochards The pool was nice to sit at. Breakfast was nice as long as you came in time.

There was a 30 cm high window at foot height. We could only look outside by lying om the floor. The plumbing was in trouble, because emptying either the bathtub, the sink or flushing the toilet made the others gurgle for at least 5 minutes. No ‘don’t disturb”-sign to put outside the door. The registering and check-out took a 500 mtr walk to another hotel. We could not get a second room key “no, only one key per room” We had to ask kitchen staff to help get to our bicycles. Seriously understaffed. Too expensive for what you get.

Fresh and clean - great amenities in the room and delicious breakfast.

Our only slight problem was a delay checking in, as we were not informed that we had to do so at the main Stayen reception (in a different location).

Excellent stay, would recommend

Our room was quite big and the bathroom looked very nice as well. Bed was comfortable and we could see the sunset from the window. Big luminous common area with a pool table

The Hof is located on a different building from the Stayen Hotel, which is quite misleading at check-in but also not the most handy as all the staff seemed to be located there so we couldn't go to the "reception" and ask for quick questions.

Overpriced for a fairly insipid hotel and poor vibe. Reception ans breakfast were in a sister cheaper hotel by the local soccer stadium. Moved to the local castle “Kasteel van Ordingen” for a similar price. Exceptional property, rooms and service. Day and night. This is the go to place in the region. A 5* hotel (with Michelin restaurant) at abnormally low prices.

Hof Van Stayen is mooi maar wij waren er alleen en dat is maar eenzaam, misschien beter in de zomer

ontbijt was ok.

10 euro evtra moeten betalen omdat we een uurtje vroeger waren terwijl er in het gebouw NIEMAND anders logeerde. Was geen leuk gevoel zo alleen daar te zijn en voor het ontbijt moesten we naar het hotel aan de overkant gaan, wat niet vermeld staat in de brochure.

L’accueil lors de mon enregistrement à la réception était très très froid. On s’est senti perdu heureusement que le serveur du bar nous a bien expliqué l’emplacement de notre hôtel. L’emplacement est difficile à trouver surtout la nuit… Nous avons été réveillé à plusieurs reprises par un groupe d’hommes qui faisaient la fête. Ils ont même voulu rentrer dans notre chambre à 3h du matin…

Was een leuke vakantie ,maar er is werk aan de kamers . Geen prijs kwaliteit vonden wij. Ze vragen respons van het hotel

Mooie rustige locatie . Vriendelijk personeel . Heel goede bedden . Lekker ontbijt , veel keuze . Aangenaam zwembad bij Hof ter Stayen waar wij logeerden . Sportbar en Italiaans restaurant op de kleine markt bij het hotel zijn een echte aanrader !

Verouderde kamers en kastmeubel ( viel bijna uit elkaar ) . Triestige douchekop in onze kamer. In tegenstelling tot de mooie douchecabine. Geen airco :-( . Was heel warm weer dus wel heel jammer. Wel een ventilator wat wel iets goed maakte. Voor een luxe kamer zoals in de beschrijving stond en de bijhorende prijs een ontgoocheling. Tweede geboekte kamer nog minder comfort dan bij de eerste ( zelfde prijs ). Geen koelkast , geen airco , geen zicht naar buiten wegens onder het dak gelegen. Snikheet dus . Als je een raam wou openzetten moest men op de knieën kruipen . Nooit handig maar zeker niet voor 70 plussers ;-) . Heb deze opmerkingen aan hotel laten weten. Zo hadden ze de mogelijkheid om sommige zaken te duiden. Zonder enige reactie erop. Wat jammer is .

Voor herhaling vatbaar

Mooi complex. Zalige rust in de kamers . Rustige omgeving ondanks nabije drukke baan. Ligt vlakbij winkels, eetgelegenheden en bakker. Leuk centrum op fietsafstand, circa 15 minuten. Zalig zwembad. Ontbijt in hotel stayen , basic maar lekker . Ontbijtlocatie mooi ingericht. Met fiets en vespa( gehuurd) wijde omgeving verkend.

Douche straal was matig . Heel warm op de kamer ondanks grote mobiele ventilator.

Rustig, in de natuur gelegen accommodatie

Rustig gelegen accommodatie, verwarmd zwembad, mooie, ruime en nette kamer. De omgeving leent zich om te fietsen en het verblijf is op loopafstand van het centrum.

Je moet een drukke straat oversteken om bij het hotel te komen en te gaan ontbijten. Dit was voor ons overigens geen moeite.

Moderne propre et complet niveau équipement.

La piscine extérieure n'était pas 100% propre, présence d'insectes mort et de particules. Le joli carrelage de la sdb glissait terriblement fort . Et bcp de taon(insect qui pique) autour de la piscine. Dommage pour le reste c'était bien.

De kamer was ruim en gezellig. Ook de aanwezigheid van een zwembad was top...zalig om na een fietstocht nog een frisse duik te kunnen nemen.

Het enige dat ik als minder heb ervaren is dat je voor alles naar Hotel Stayen moet....inchecken, sleutel fietsenstaling (die je ook onmiddellijk moet terugnrengen), onrbijt

Dat we 17 vliegende mieren in onze kamer hebben moeten doodmaken ook in en op t bed 🤮 ik wou eigenlijk vertrekken……. Was niet op Mijn gemak hierdoor , bah bah 179€ voor zoiets dat gaat erover

Alles in allem gut

Wir hatten ein großes, geräumiges Zimmer, das neu eingerichtet war. Die Betten waren gut. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Obwohl gleich hinter einer großen, viel befahrenen Straße, ist der Hof umringt von Natur pur, so daß man sich gleich wie im Urlaub fühlt. Der Pool ist beheizt, trotz frischen Temperaturen am Morgen, konnte man schön einige Runden schwimmen :-)

Wir mussten im Hotel Stayen frühstücken. Obwohl das Essen nicht schlecht war, ist die Atmosphäre im riesigen Essaal mit vielen Leuten, nicht mehr entspannend. 2 Decken fürs Doppelbett, hätte ich persönlich bevorzugt. Leider hatte die WC-Spühlung auch ein Problem. Ich bekam nie eine Antwort auf Fragen, die ich über die Booking-App gestellt habe. Schade! Wir haben extra im Hof van Stayen gebucht, da in dieser Unterkunft Hunde erlaubt sind (laut Booking). Wir haben das Hotel auch gleich bei der Buchung informiert, dass ein Hund uns begleitet. 2 Tage vor Anreise haben wir nochmals darüber informiert. Leider bekamen wir nie eine Antwort. Bei der Anreise sagte man uns dann, dass auch im Hof van Stayen keine Haustiere mehr erlaubt seien. Da sie jedoch meine Nachrichten lesen konnten und auch gesehen haben, dass ich keine Antwort erhalten habe, durfte der Hund dann doch, gegen eine Gebühr von 20€ pro Tag bleiben.
