Charming apartment near Cassis located between the sea and the hills 1.2 km from the beaches

Nous étions venus pour le GP de F1, la localisation de l’appartement est parfaite par rapport à cela. Nous avons grandement apprécié l’équipement très complet du logement et la climatisation ! La communication avec les propriétaires est parfaite et le papa du propriétaire qui nous a accueilli est d’une grande gentillesse! Assurément nous reviendrons y passer des vacances !

Très bel appartement avec tout le confort nécessaire dans une résidence calme avec place de parking réservée Une véranda et une petite terrasse extérieure avec transats très agréable La clim est un plus Et la proximité de la voie ferrée n’est absolument pas dérangeante, très peu de train qui passent et de plus la chambre se trouve à l’opposé

Appartement au top. Très fonctionnel. Au calme. Propriétaire très gentil. Le plus a été la fourniture des draps et serviettes de toilette qui n'est pas dans toutes les locations d'appartement. Nous y reviendrons c'est sûr!

The location was good - it was a 20 minute walk to the patisserie, butcher, and pharmacy, which was nice. It was about a 30 minute walk to the beach and harbor area.Although the trains run right next to the parking lot, with doors and windows closed the apartment was very quiet. There was a nice sun room and private patio area.Cleanliness was definitely an issue, as was maintenance. For example there were burned out light bulbs, a fabric chair fell apart under my (petite) wife, and the laundry drying rack was broken. We let the host know immediately but no repairs were made during our nearly three week stay. Basic supplies such as trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, toilet tissue, salt and pepper, cooking oil and such were not provided. There was no oven mitt and only one kitchen towel. Although the listing said the hosts were English speaking, the person that checked us in spoke no English and correspondence with the host for the most part needed to be translated.One source of stress was that the day before checking in, the host said “remember to bring your 1000 cash deposit” and that no keys would be provided until that deposit was made. The host then said “ the management company” said no deposit could be required.The location was good and the area was lovely, with many must-see tourist, UNESCO sites, etc., within a 2 hour drive. The rental property was inexpensive. Just bring supplies and clarify no additional “deposits”.
