About this house rental
This permitted private home (STKM2020/003, TA-145-334-3744) is unique to the vacation rental market! The home is a short 50 steps to a stretch of the famous Sugar Beach. It's a spacious and updated three bedroom, two bathroom, that comfortably sleeps a total of SIX guests(regardless of age). All six guests shall be of the same party. The home is situated on a spacious lot with native lush trees and greenery. The trade winds keep the home cool throughout the year. This home does not have air conditioning.
The indoor and outdoor spaces have been created with relaxation in mind. However, no parties, events, or receptions of any kind are allowed.

Quiet hours are 9am to 8pm, during which time the noise from the short term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive then would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short term rental is prohibited.
Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street.
No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.
The shoreline area is the property of the people of Hawaii and is open for the free use by everyone.

We traveled for a family wedding. The house was perfect. So cute and had everything we needed and literally steps to the beautiful beach!

The house is nice and the rooms were perfect for our group: 5 adults, incl. 2 couples. Having 3 adult-sized beds and 3 bedrooms was rare, and I was very happy to have found this one. However, there's nowhere in the house for that many people to be together. The house sleeps 6 but there's nowhere for more than 4 people to be in the same room at the same time. The upstairs porch/TV room only has 3-4 chairs. The counter seating in the kitchen is 4 very uncomfortable stools. The sofa-like seat nearby is not terribly comfortable and seats at a max of 3 squished. The 2 seats in the "coffee nook" are tiny and randomly placed. This was a family vacation, and we wanted to spend time together as a family (we really like each other lol). But this house is not conducive for that. It's great for sleeping but there was really no thought put into furnishing it for a comfortable family gathering. I was initially concerned about the broken fan and light downstairs, the torn back screen door, and a challenging front screen door (the handle is too close to the door and I cut myself each time I turned the knob to go inside), but we had plenty of light and air circulation anyways, and we had no issues with bugs in the house. The only other really strange thing was our laundry detergent disappeared. There was someone we saw making deliveries once or twice, and then a couple days before the end of the trip, our large container of laundry detergent went missing from the laundry area. Frustrating.
