Die Ferienwohnung liegt am steilen Hang von Porto Santo Stefano und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Yachthafen, die Spanische Festung und das Städtchen. Über Treppen und Gässchen ist man in ca. 15-20 Minuten am Hafen oder am Strand (Spiaggetta Del Siluripedio). Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, wenn auch die Küche recht klein ist. Neben dem Balkon gibt es eine Terrasse bzw. einen kleinen Hof mit Gärtchen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Gut zu wissen: 1. Zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad ist der Weg zur Ferienwohnung von der Stadt / dem Hafen / dem Strand durchaus etwas anstrengend. 2. Der Esstisch und die Wohnzimmerausstattung insgesamt sind für den Aufenthalt mit Kleinkindern nicht ideal (Glastisch, kein Kinderstuhl, Krimskrams). Fazit: Wir hatten als Familie mit vier Kindern (2 bis 15 Jahre) einen sehr schönen Sommerurlaub - mit Strandbesuchen, Spaziergängen in den sehr netten Städtchen von Monte Argentario und kleineren Fahrradtouren. Auch ohne Auto lässt sich die Umgebung mit Linienbus, Fähre (Inseln Giglio und Giannutri) und eben mit Fahrrad und zu Fuß gut entdecken.

Beautiful place and clean. You should be aware that there is quite a drive up with narrow roads and steep sharp turns. If you are brave, it is worth the drive. Unfortunately, we had trouble trying to get the water to heat up for showers. We were told that the heater was on, but were unaware that you had to wait 20 minutes for the water to get hot.
