Beautiful place and clean. You should be aware that there is quite a drive up with narrow roads and steep sharp turns. If you are brave, it is worth the drive. Unfortunately, we had trouble trying to get the water to heat up for showers. We were told that the heater was on, but were unaware that you had to wait 20 minutes for the water to get hot.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt am steilen Hang von Porto Santo Stefano und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Yachthafen, die Spanische Festung und das Städtchen. Über Treppen und Gässchen ist man in ca. 15-20 Minuten am Hafen oder am Strand (Spiaggetta Del Siluripedio). Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, wenn auch die Küche recht klein ist. Neben dem Balkon gibt es eine Terrasse bzw. einen kleinen Hof mit Gärtchen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Gut zu wissen: 1. Zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad ist der Weg zur Ferienwohnung von der Stadt / dem Hafen / dem Strand durchaus etwas anstrengend. 2. Der Esstisch und die Wohnzimmerausstattung insgesamt sind für den Aufenthalt mit Kleinkindern nicht ideal (Glastisch, kein Kinderstuhl, Krimskrams). Fazit: Wir hatten als Familie mit vier Kindern (2 bis 15 Jahre) einen sehr schönen Sommerurlaub - mit Strandbesuchen, Spaziergängen in den sehr netten Städtchen von Monte Argentario und kleineren Fahrradtouren. Auch ohne Auto lässt sich die Umgebung mit Linienbus, Fähre (Inseln Giglio und Giannutri) und eben mit Fahrrad und zu Fuß gut entdecken.

Tolle Aussicht! Neue Bäder, der Rest abgewohnt. Gastgeber bei Ankunft nicht da, mussten den Weg per WhatsApp-Fotos finden.Küche Katastrophe, wegen veralteter Elektrik nicht mal ein Wasserkocher. Töpfe u.a. innen leidlich sauber, außen blieb man kleben. Espressomaschine verkalkt und verdreckt. Doppelbett gut, anderes Bett durchgelegen. Kissen fleckig, Wasserfleck an der Decke. Zu allem Überfluss Baustelle in der Wohnung gegenüber, Lärm den ganzen Tag. Gastgeber war nicht in der Lage, das abzustellen. Der tolle Blick entschädigt nicht für alles!!

L’host sempre disponibilissimo e gentile. La casa veramente ben strutturata, ogni ambiente affaccia sul giardino o sul terrazzo con una vista bellissima. Ampia, allegra e luminosa con due bagni nuovissimi. A me è’ piaciuta molto, ci tornerei sicuramente!!

La casa è molto grande, vengono forniti tutti i comfort tra cui lavatrice, forno, macchinetta del caffè, utensili vari... c è un meraviglioso terrazzo vista mare con un divano è un tavolo per cenare. Le camere sono grandi e spaziose. Possiamo solo dire bene. Un po’ vecchiotto l’arredamento e la pulizia non da hotel ma insomma per noi sono dettagli da poco . Per il prezzo vale tutto! Siamo stati benissimo!!! Proprietario non presente nel luogo ma molto disponibile, ci ha risolto ugualmente due imprevisti! Grazie grazie grazie!!!!
