This was advertised as an apartment that could sleep 4 - 2 couples in the same room. What was not made clear was that one of the beds was in a loft above the other bed with only a 2 foot clearance. Could not even sit up in the top bed. Sheets and duvet covers provided were damp. No soap.

I stayed here with my three friends for my birthday. It was in a nice location (close to metro), and was perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive to all our questions. Would recommend for a small group of friends, who don't mind being close to one another!

Sigh. While this place has a wonderful location, it's not a very pleasant place to stay. The overhead lights don't work so the kitchen was almost too dark to cook in. There's no where to sit except two rickety chairs and an ancient square of deflated foam with a threadbare red thing over it. There are no closets or shelves or dressers to store anything-- we had to just leave all our clothes and things on the floor, and with four people in a small space for a week, things were not good. There are closets-- but they are 100% filled to the brim with dozens and dozens of ancient sheets, towels, etc. Like enough for the entire block. None of them fit well on the equally terrible "beds" which were foam. These towels and sheets and all other items in the flat were clearly purchased at a rummage sale in 1982. The place wasn't filthy, but it was just so old and gross that no amount of cleaning would fix it. Holes in the tile kind of things. The bathroom looked like someone might have wiped it down, but also leftover detritus from past guests (rusty nail clippers?). Someone kinda cleaned, but not very well. For under $1000 it could be very nice but there has been ZERO effort made towards comfort or aesthetics. There's a poster on the wall held up with duct tape. Yikes. Yes, it's small, but most places in Paris are small and I can deal with that if the entire floor isn't taken up by heaps of clothes and suitcases because there are NO FREAKING SHELVES OR DRAWERS.

The pictures, online or a little misleading, we thought the couch was in a separate room from the loft bed, so there was really no privacy. Unfortunately, the bathroom was falling apart. There were tile pieces completely cracked and falling off at the base of the tub.

The apartment was located in the 10th arrondissement and fairly close to a Metro line which made getting around Paris easy. The apartment is small by Canadian standards but the four of us were able to make it work. The loft bed was great but the double bed was on an unstable base. I flipped my husband out of it a couple of times getting up. Lol The small details in the kitchen were appreciated especially the duct tape. Thank you Bertrand for the stay.

Had a great time. We had everything we needed! Grocery a block away. Bus and metro were near in the lovely neighborhood. Would have been nice to have toilet paper to last the stay. Thank you bertrand! You always communicate quickly! Great stay. We would return.

It was very difficult to gain access to building as keypad was worn and unable to read.A simple explanation when getting code would suffice The apartment was very dirty and dusty.There was renovations in progress in hallway however inside apartment should have been cleaned and dusted much better Simple things like wifi and getting tv to work were a nuisance in getting help Yes the location was great which helped with the overall experience

This pocket-sized apartment on Rue d'Hauteville is just beside the so-trendy-it-hurts rue des Petites Ecuries. There are good, low-key local places (Chez Minna, Cafe Bonobo), but we also managed to get a pavement table one evening at Déviant (go very early!) where you can linger over tapas-sized dishes while watching men wearing no socks, and young women smoking themselves into an early grave. The host is very prompt to reply and check-in is easy. The apartment itself has windows that open onto a central sealed "courtyard" - good for noise (apart from one guy with a loud TV who was given very Gallic instructions by his neighbours) and also cool and shielded during the hot summer of 2022. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen, 1 child), and it really was a bit of a squeeze for so many, since the downstairs sofa-bed would otherwise have been a sofa to lounge on: as it is, there was nowhere to hang out. The Upstairs bed is on a mezzanine/sleeping platform above the lounge area - everybody sleeping in one room, and this might work for a group of younger people. The beds are awful: so uncomfotable that we moved one mattress onto the floor. This is my only gripe.

The location of the property was great, it was an easy walk to the metro and also restaurants. The beds need some improvements, the bed on the floor was more like a futon, it was not the most comfortable to sleep on. The loft bed could use a better mattress as well. Overall we were happy with everything except the bed quality. The communication with the owner was great, he responded very fast.

This apartment was just what we were looking for. It was definitely small but it fit all 4 of us 17/18 year olds for 4 nights. It had nice big windows so it never got too stuffy. It had a good shower and little kitchen too! The low price was a steal, especially considering the neighborhood and how many places we could walk to. One thing was it took a bit of time to find the wifi password, which we realized was on the underside of the box on top of the tv. Overall I loved my stay here and would stay again!

My partner and I stayed here for three nights. It's a great little apartment. It wasn't clear from the description that this is two rooms, a kitchen/dining room and a living room with a futon and the lofted bed (plus the bathroom). The lofted bed is *really* high and kind of awkward to use, and I with they'd put a normal bed in there rather than the futon. Otherwise, no complaints about the property. The listing is missing some information, but the owner was very responsive to our questions and the whole process went pretty smoothly.

very well situed 1-bdrm apt was as pictured: comfortable loft bed (watch the low ceiling, I’m 5ft9 and bumped my head several times) plus double futon sofa bed in classic Haussmann bldg. We walked everywhere from the apt, which was helpful because of the transportation strikes. Bertrand is very responsive and we felt right at home. Very good value, too!

Staying here was great. Location is super and you're very well connected with the metro and other train services. The apartment was nice with plenty of room and good facilities. However getting in to the apartment was hard as the door as very stiff and could prove problematic if you were trying to get in by yourself.

The apartment is located within the 10th arr; very close to the metro, Gare du Nord, and bars/restaurants. At first impression, the building inside needs some touching up, the floors a pretty dark but they do have motion sensor lights, so it can be a bit creepy for small kids, like my son. The inside is very spacious, nice size kitchen, table, and room. The bed sheets and canopy bed need some added attention. The futon was little bit uncomfortable but it did what we needed, a bed. There was a lot of noise you can hear from the hallway traffic and upstairs apartment, so for light sleepers, I would not recommend it. Overall, good for young couple, backpackers, not for families.

É um apartamento muito aconchegante e bem parisiense. Amamos cada detalhe. Desde a cozinha até o quarto, banheiro, roupas de cama, estava tudo muito limpo e organizado, bem equipado. Acomodou muito bem 4 pessoas! O quarteirão fica exatamente entre o 9• e o 10• arr, e possibilitou que fizéssemos muitos passeios a pé. Localizado a 20 min a pé do louvre, cerca de 15 min de monmartre. O anfitrião Bertrand é um verdadeiro cavalheiro! Cordial, educado, super atencioso conosco desde o momento da reserva até a nossa saída da hospedagem. Tivemos um contato muito bom, e ele sempre esclareceu nossas dúvidas com clareza e atenção. Com certeza nos hospedaremos nesse apartamento caso haja disponibilidade na nossa próxima visita a Paris! Recomendo a hospedagem e ressalto que é um local excelente para vc ter uma experiência de viagem muito além de turismo; é uma vivencia como um verdadeiro morador de Paris. Valeu muito a pena o custo benefício!

Séjour très agréable, apartement confortable et très bien situé; dommage que le propriétaire n'ait pas répondu à mon dernier message sur le site d'Abritel, ne se soit pas fait trouver au r-v prévu, que de 16.00 à 20h00 n'ait pas répondu à mes appels et que lorsqu'il l'a fait il ait été très désagréable, agressif et grossier. Finalement, on n'a pu entrer dans l'apartement que le jour suivant (entre temps, il avait bien fallu qu'on trouve une solution alternative pour la première nuit). Après, mais seulement après, il s'est excusé et a été assez gentil; il m'a aussi assuré qu'il me rembourserait la première nuit. On va voir.

Appartement de caractère très calme (côté cour intérieure) situé dans un quartier très agréable (nombreux restaurants, bars...). Très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Clefs laissées sous la bache de travaux dans le couloir alors qu'il y a une gardienne dans l'immeuble. im possibilité de se servir de l'évier car bouché. Cuvette mise à disposition pour laver vaisselle dans slle de bain !!!!douche en mauvais état et fonctionnant très mal. Pas possible de laisser une enfant se servir de la douche. Frigo non nettoyé et contenant les restes des précédents locataires. location qui aurait mérité un geste sur le prix.
