About this chalet rental
In any season, this is a perfect Romantic Get-Away for 2, yet roomy enough for two couples to have their own space. One Queen bed in the bedroom, and a second Queen bed and sitting area in the Loft.
Whether you want to snuggle in for a cozy Winter retreat, or relax on the deck on a hot summer day, the Driftwood Chalet is your home-away-from home!
Pristine lakeview Cabin, located in the Heart of the Shuswap, walking distance from the town of Sorrento, BC.
Open-concept 850 sq ft chalet-style lodging has lots of comfy seating to get away from it all. Vaulted ceilings, large windows and a spacious Loft take in the stunning views of Shuswap Lake and the surrounding mountains.
Large covered deck with gas fire-table and BBQ, surrounded by Nature in a park-like setting. Over 5 acres of property surround you, bring your snowshoes or hiking boots, and your Golf Clubs...?
GOLF on site!! We have built and maintain a 9 hole Golf Course as a hobby, completely on our own property! (It is NOT a public course)
Our registered Chalet guests are welcome to play or walk our golf course, as long as they are respectful. “Events” are NOT permitted. If you wish to invite a friend or family member who is not staying with you, please ask us first.
There are few right and left handed clubs at the first Tee, and lots of golf balls. There are course layout maps and score card for your use in the Chalet Binder.
Play a "round" for fun, or to warm up for one of the larger Public golf courses nearby!
Driftwood Chalet is tucked back from Blind Bay road for privacy, yet only 1 km to the Trans Canada highway for quick access.
Minutes away from the amenities of Sorrento and Blind Bay: groceries, restaurants, stores, beaches, parks, boat launches, and Marinas.
The closest public beach park is at the end of Gillespie Road, 900 metres away. It can be easily walked in about 10 minutes, or drive in under than 2 minutes! It is a small, local beach access park, a real hidden gem

Unfortunately, due to some safety concerns we have regarding small children (a set of steep stairs, rugged rock landscaping features) this property is not appropriate for young children under 5 years old.
In consideration of all future guests, we are unable to accommodate pets

Excellent stay, hosts had everything completely prepared and full of thoughtful items. When item was accidentally left behind owners contacted us to get the item returned. Views were fantastic, surrounded by trees for quiet and privacy yet close to all of the amenities in the area

Beautiful little cabin with a gorgeous view of the lake. Super easy check in, very nice hosts. We loved the decor, and the large dramatic windows overlooking the lake are so pretty. The cabin had everything we needed. Also - the Greek restaurant in town has excellent souvlaki!

This was our second stay at the Driftwood Chalet in Sorrento On the Shuswap lake. It was so wonderful the first time we had to come back again and we’re sure it will not be our last visit! Debbie and Blair are wonderful hosts!
