About this house rental
Our home is located in the idyllic Eagles Mere Park, an easy walk to Eagles Mere Lake. Bring your bikes, and you may not need to get into your car the entire visit! Our family home has wonderful porches, including a lovely screened-in porch looking out on the woods, a newly-renovated kitchen, and plenty of lawn space for pick-up games.
Eagles Mere Lake is a privately-owned lake that is open to renters of Stay Put cottage for a fee. Upon booking, we would be happy to send you a link to the Eagles Mere Lake Association for a temporary lake membership, which we highly recommend. More details will be in the Eagles Mere Lake Association temporary membership application.
Please note rentals are Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise arranged with the owners.

The house is as described online - very nice with a lot of open space and a perfect kitchen for a small to mid-size group. We had 6 people and the house was ideal! The location could not be better. I have been going to Eagles Mere for 60+ years and being in The Park really makes you part of the community. I highly recommend Stay Put.

It was a very relaxing week. The house is comfortable and homey, bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Loved the porch on the back - very private and quiet. Also enjoyed the porcupine who sat in the hawthorn tree! Wifi was spectacular for working.

My family has been renting at Eagles Mere for over 60 years and have stayed in many different cottages. We loved Stay Put for it's size and location. The house stayed surprisingly cool for how hot the weather was. Well stocked with anything you would need. Quiet street. Especially loved the back porch. Two members worked from home during part of our stay and the Internet connection worked perfectly. Would rent again.

Everything was wonderful about our stay. All of the bed were comfortable, the house was cozy and location was perfect. The house was cool on hot days and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. I loved that my kids could come and go to the beach or Sweet Shop on their own. Screened in porch was nice. My only recommendation would be more comfortable furniture for the front porch.
