Charming and luxury retreats on our farm

These cottages were an amazing find. Deepak and Sarah were both lovely and came straight on over to welcome us and to make sure we had everything we needed. They are clearly very proud (rightly so) of their farm and wanted to show us around. The horses and ponies are stunning. We didn't get time to see the sheep but they would have been happy to show us those too. They left us a couple of beers, a bottle of wine, a cake, some milk and eggs fresh from their farm. Such a lovely touch. They also said we could take eggs whenever we wanted so that was breakfast sorted then! The cottages themselves (my brother had one next door) were lovely. well equipped kitchens, plenty of nice homely touches, good quality products in the bathroom (an extra bonus point there!), a pretty little area to sit outside (gorgeous roses!). I couldn't fault it at all. For anyone visiting with family, there is lots to do in the surrounding areas and the hosts have put together a really helpful manual of ideas for days and local walks plus where to eat etc. I will definitely stay again if I need to come back to the area.

Excellent purpose-built accommodation in a lovely area surrounded by beautiful countryside. Perfect cosy cottage for 2 people. Great welcome and very well managed.
