Die Fewo liegt in einer ruhigen und zentralen Lage, in der Nähe des Fähranlegers. Der Ort ist nicht so überlaufen, die Ufer-Promenade sehr idyllisch. Wir haben uns selbst versorgt. Die Fewo war gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank Anna, sie hat uns zum vereinbarten Termin empfangen und uns nett und gut eingewiesen.

The apartment had everything you could possibly want or need for an extremely comfortable stay at beautiful Lake Maggiore. Comfy bed, spacious, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, washing machine, air con and a fabulous view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. It also felt very safe and secure. We much appreciated all the thoughtful extras such as tea/coffee, breakfast bits, washing detergent, toiletries and even a bottle of bubbly in the fridge which was very welcoming. Anna, who met us with the keys, was so friendly and helpful with information and was most accommodating when we needed a later checkout to fit in with our travel plans. Communication was very easy and sincere. The owners also run the Kopi Club restaurant on the Lake front where we had lunch and dinner several times; their lunchtime set menu is fabulous and really good value, not to be missed. Most importantly, the location was so close to the restaurants and shops (co-op 5 mins walk) and also the ferry terminal and train station. The Funivia cable car ( an absolute must experience ) is also 5 mins walk away. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the Lake.

This is not a dislike but more of a tip to anyone with mobility issues - the apartment is on a street which is a steep walk up (hence the great views) and also up a flight of stairs with no lift. We found the easiest route to walk was via the steps at St Ambrogio Church. The views are definitely worth it!

Location is a quick walk uphill from the train station, spacious set up. Owners were kind to let us stay past the 10:30 check-out on our last day since our trains didn’t leave until much later in the afternoon which was much appreciated. Luckily no clients had booked for the day after. Thanks so much!
