About this villa rental

Just a short distance from the riverside, this smoke-free villa lets you experience it all. There's convenient covered onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 13-minute walk to La Villasse or the 14-minute walk to Puymin Archaeological Site.

After you return to this 1076-sq-ft villa, you can unwind by the outdoor pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the deck or patio and outdoor furniture. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the WiFi and TV.

We just loved this place…everything about it! Quiet, but close to town center with a beautiful pool! Plenty of room, fully equipped kitchen, spotless. Caroline was easily communicating. We will definitely be back!

The house is an ideal base for exploring Vaison-la-Romaine and the region - it was clean, comfortable, well-kitted out and very suitable for a family with young children; for example child-locks on the swimming pool gates was typical of the attention detail at the house. The town centre was a convenient 10-15 minutes walk with plenty of cafes and restaurants for when cooking became a chore. The weekly farmer’s market is very poplar and a great source of local produce. Exploring the region with its prehistoric caves, Roman sites, outlying medieval villages and castles, capped with trips to wine estates(!) proved well beyond the limitation of a single holiday!! For the fitter in the family, cycling all three routes up Mount Ventoux earned bragging rights to an HC Tour-de-France leg. The reason for the one lost star rating for the listing arose from an initial bit of confusion over the 4th bedroom in the English website’s translation of the original French website. This was rapidly and generously resolved by the host immediately on our arrival and didn’t have any impact on the holiday. Overall, Les P’tites Pommes proved to be a terrific find that made the holiday - a bit of a gem really. A big thank you to David and Caroline.

We cannot flaw this property. Clean, comfortable, great location, a clean and safe (for young children) pool area, fully equipped kitchen and incredibly responsive owners. The property is a short walk to the centre of the village where there are a great array of shops, restaurants, and a welcoming community. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at this property. We visit the region every year and for the first time we’ve found a property we’d seriously consider staying at again. We highly recommend staying at this property. Thank you David, Caroline and your family members for taking care of us.

We very much enjoyed our two weeks at Les Petites Pommes. It was nicer than the pictures showed, just right for our family of 5. The pool was very nice. It was about a 15 minute walk into the downtown area. Kitchen was well-equipped, except for a shortage of knives, not uncommon in rental homes. Merci pour le vin et les olives!

A Charming House in a Calm and Attractive Neighborhood

Everything about this house was excellent! We were greeted by the delightful owner who gave us a tour of the property. The house was so well-equipped and modern...the extra large kitchen and eating area gave us lots of room, and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals or snacks. The bedrooms were well laid-out with plenty of room for our things, and the bedrooms and bathrooms had lovely linens. The house is a short walk (15 min) into the central part of Vaison, so we were able to purchase fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast every day, and the weekly market is outstanding. It was quite cool when we were there (Oct. 7-14), so we didn't use the pretty pool, but the patio was a nice place to enjoy the sun. The town of Vaison is a terrific historical city with Roman ruins and a medieval castle on the hillside. A must-visit!

Overall an excellent experience throughout. The host communicated with us well before our arrival when we were met in person to review the property, as well as coming to see us before we left. The property is wonderful, clean, and well maintained and situated. The pool was clean and serviced weekly. Well appointed kitchen and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. We hope to return again soon :-)

Décorée avec goût et qualité, la maison récemment rénovée se trouve dans un quartier résidentiel calme proche du centre ville (15mn à pied). Un vélo est mis à disposition, très pratique pour aller chercher le pain le matin. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et arrangeants. Tout est parfait ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec nos 4 enfants.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à 4 adultes et 2 enfant de 3 et 5 ans. La piscine est grande et elle a fait le bonheur des enfants et des adultes. La maison est située à 15 minutes à pied du centre de Vaison La Romaine ce qui permet de ne pas utiliser la voiture. Une petite attention vous attend en arrivant ce qui fait toujours plaisir et l’accueil est très soignée. Merci Caroline.
