Balcony and walkway closures should only affect the 11th and 3rd floor units at this time. Additionally, this complex will be undergoing a re-roofing project scheduled from May-July of 2027, weather permitting. Please contact our reservation team if you have questions regarding the balcony closure dates or re-roofing dates for this property. Sterling Shores 916 is a beautifully decorated 2BR/2BA condo located in the heart of Destin. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with an island and a large balcony with views of the Gulf. With a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in the guest room, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, Sterling Shores 916 comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Sterling Shores is a gated, 11 story complex in the heart of Destin. Boasting a 4300 sq.ft. private lagoon pool, gulf front pool, commercial grill area, BBQ grills, picnic area, and exercise room, located on 9 acres of lush tropical landscaping with 240 ft of beach. Be sure to take advantage of the new bike rack available for owner and guest use in the East Garage next to the ice machines. Beach service is available for guest for $45/day or $225/week plus tax and booking fee. You have to check out Sterling Shores vacation rentals for yourself!
The beach pool is heated from Nov-May, depending on temperatures. The lagoon pool is not heated.

We had a great time. Resort was nice and location was great. One thing that could be better-is the uncleanliness of the grills. Someone needs to be assigned to cleaning them at least twice a week. We spent almost 40 minutes cleaning the grill before we could use it. We heard other guest complained about the same issue.

The description of the condo was very accurate.Questions that I directed to customer service were answered quickly.The location was great and close to the beach,restaurants,entertainment.

when booking this vacation I think it would have been nice to know ahead of time that if you are staying at Sterling Shores you will not be able to bring your personal beach gear with you unless you are willing to set up and sit behind the several rows of rental beach chairs. The unit we stayed in did not come with rentals and i do believe some of them include free rentals in your stay. It would have been nice to know that if we wanted to be close to the water we should rent ahead of our stay.
