老闆是外國人可說英日語，溝通無問題。設備衛浴房間都非常乾淨，讓人住了很安心，難怪評價這麼高。交誼廳有熱、冰水，有冰箱，也有茶包咖啡可以泡，早餐也很豐盛。可選西式日式，日式早餐很豐盛。但住宿地離車站較遠，與根室花丸方向不同，若拉著大行李較不方便。我們是先拉行李到根室花丸用餐，請根室花丸幫忙打電話叫計程車載我們至GUESTHOUSE，先請司機等我們放置行李後再搭到金刀比羅神社，大約1500日圓，回程因無行李可直接慢慢散步回GUESTHOUSE，住宿附近有札幌藥妝跟大創百貨。隔天請GUESTHOUSE老闆幫忙打電話給計程車載我們至車站，一趟為起步價800日圓(根室的計程車起步價較貴)，以上經驗供參考。總之到根室真的很推薦這間住宿，我們住的是一樓的雙人房。
