Absolutely Perfect in Every Way

A dedicated and hardworking team, a spa manager who speaks Turkish, incredible massages, and wonderful staff. It became a place where we truly wished we had stayed longer. Everything was absolutely perfect — spotlessly clean, and the room was excellent!

Under construction but

Actually, I can't give any star because I did not see the hotel it self....

When we arrive the hotel staff stated that no rooms were available and that the entire property was closed due to maintenance. They asserted that this closure affected all customers and claimed to have sent an email notification. However, I never received any such email (a joint search of my Gmail inbox confirmed this), nor does my correspondence on Booking.com show any notification from them. Please make sure they can accommodate you before coming.

Wonderful hotel

The hotel is simply wonderful, it feels like something out of this world, like something out of an Avatar movie. I took a 25-day trip through Indonesia, but only stayed here for one night, between my stays in Ubud and Uluwatu. It was worth every second, even though I had booked the private breakfast at the waterfall and couldn't enjoy it due to the unfortunate fire that broke out in the hotel's expansion area. I had to rush out with my bags on the road as the flames advanced toward the hotel. Fortunately, I learned later that the hotel's operations were unaffected. But I was able to fully enjoy it the day before. The entire hotel is beautiful: the pools, the spa, the restaurant, the rooms. The food at both restaurants is also excellent, and the staff is incredibly attentive.

Beautiful resort with kind staff, but far too many problems for the high price—disappointing and not relaxing.

The resort is beautiful and unique with eco-friendly design. The natural setting is stunning and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Not worth the money for a 5-star resort in Bali. Constant construction noise, even at night. Shower water pressure broke twice. Room had a moldy smell due to weak AC. Hair dryers were cheap and ineffective. Poor sound insulation—you can hear neighbors and their music early morning. Sewage smell in parts of the property. Netflix advertised but not working. Too many small but constant issues made the stay stressful instead of relaxing.

Unfortunately some rooms are very noisy (close to the road) and the constructions work of the neighbours are noisy as well. None of this is Ulaman’s fault, but that is impacting the top experience. (Great Staff helped us to change room so it got better).

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was nothing short of magical — from the stunning eco-friendly design to the peaceful, lush surroundings. Jungle hideaway

I just loved everything about this place. The setting, the staff, the rooms, all the little extras you got. Everything was thoughtfully done. The staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t do enough. I even enjoyed watching the new rooms being built as it’s amazing to see them being done, very cleverly done . Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. I loved it and was just what I needed .

Excellent stay and Stunning property having luxury to its core!!!

Ulaman was the most amazing property I have ever stayed in, it was so luxurious to the core each and every bit was so beautiful. The pools, the restaurants, all villas the lobby every thing in the property was so beautiful can’t express in words. We had booked a Balinese Spa at ulaman and it was the best ever experience one could have.!!! Indian food options were amazing in their menu and the taste was also soo good just like good Indian food! I had a short stay definitely going to come again to Ulaman and stay for a min 3nights just to enjoy the property!!!

Very unusual and interesting design

Beautifully designed - really unusual Staff were friendly great service Room was lovely and spacious

Cleaning could have been slightly better and our room was unfortunately above the bar/restaurant so with the thin construction we could hear everything late at night including the cutlery clattering around which was not ideal.

wow, just wow! this hotel is a dream come true.. the design, the villas, the spa, the staff everything was just perfect.

be mindful of the inspect that can crawl at night… remember this is Bali so is very common nothing to be worry about. we had a gecko visit at night and he was very loud 😂 other than that everything was fine.

Overrated.

We were looking for a place that was isolated from the city and peaceful, but we were disappointed with what we got considering the amount we paid for a 5-star hotel. The staff were nice, but there wasn't much to do, and it took us up to an hour to go back and forth to the city, which became boring as we did it every day. The services were pricier compared to other 5-star spas, so we didn't bother trying them at the resort. The food was okay. Overall, it didn't have the "wow" factor we were expecting based on what we saw on social media. It was definitely more like "Instagram vs. Reality."

The property is lovely, one of the best in Bali. The architecture is phenomenal and looks out of this world—one of the best resorts for relaxation and taking beautiful pictures. The morning yoga session was great as well.

Exceptional

Reception had waited for us as we came in on a late evening flight and were very warm and welcoming. It was a lovely start to our 3 nights at Ulaman. The property was incredible and we would definitely like to return. The hospitality was warm and friendly. We went for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and were given a beautiful welcome to our room and a lovely cake during our stay. Even though we had our own private pool (which was beautiful!), we enjoyed the resort pools also. There is a small but great gym available and we also partook in Sound healing and meditation and morning yoga. Instructor Kon was wonderful! Our driver Radhi, who the hotel organised for us was wonderful, and we continued to book him throughout our 8-day stay in Bali. The food was lovely at the resort and, whilst the breakfast menu wasn't enormous, it was more than plentiful! The grounds, the architecture, everything, was just wonderful. Thank you Ulaman, we will be back!!!

A unique resort

A very unique resort! The design and architecture feel like part of a SF movie. Good breakfast. The spa is lovely and it is nice that you can use it free of charge.

One thing that I found weird is that if you wanted to have breakfast at certain tables within the resort, you would need to pay an additional cost.

Wonderful

Beautiful, inside and out. We searched far and wide before finding this magical place - Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort. It is one of those times when the photos, as good as they are, don’t do it justice. It is even better in reality – just gorgeous. While we were blown away by the sheer beauty of the place – the setting, the stunning architecture, beautiful rooms, wonderful infinity pools and the lush tropical gardens, what made it truly special was the people. Yes, the service was attentive and first rate, however more than this, it was the genuine kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity of spirit of all the staff that made our trip so memorable. So much so, that while intending to only spend 3 nights there, we extended our stay for another 5 nights. We enjoyed many beautiful offerings, including massage, yoga and sound healing and had the privilege of participating in a special fire cleansing ceremony that honours and celebrates the arrival of the full moon. And, after leaving for a couple of days to go to another part of Bali, on returning it truly felt like coming home. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff under the careful eye of General Manager, Kadek and owner Dino whose vision for a place of deep wellbeing is being realised every day. Our special thanks too, to the beautiful Eka, restaurant manager and dearest soul who we are grateful to now call our friend. We were very sad to say goodbye to a wonderful group of people who had become like family in such a short time. So, if you want a truly unique experience and enjoy some of the best that Bali can offer, Ulaman is the perfect place.

Beautiful resort but the lack of pest control made it very uncomfortable

There were too many insects in the room, because the location of the hotel was right next to a rice field. We had all kinds of insects in our room and bathroom especially because it was all open.
