Sehr freundliche Menschen, sehr sauber, liebevoll gepflegtes Haus mit praktischer Einrichtung und wundervoller Terrasse. Gente muy amable, muy limpia, casa cuidada con mucho cariño, con un mobiliario práctico y una terraza maravillosa.

We stayed at Casa del Mejicano for 5 nights. The place is like a dream. Nestled in the protected area of Barranco de Las Angustias amidst banana plantations, it offers a cocoon to a different place and time. We enjoyed star gazing at night and lounging around different corners during the day, both inside and outside of the house (every corners were just beautiful). We cooked quite a lot and the place is extremely well equipped. The interior is very tasteful and comfortable. The owners are very kind and met us to handle the keys. Please note the internet can be slow at times and 4G is not always available. However, it was enough for calls without videos and for us to do some work. In any case, we would love to come back here with zero work next time. The only regret was that we didn't stay longer. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful house in a wonderful setting in the middle of a banana plantation. Highly recommended!

The place is just stunning! A gorgeous decorated colorful house & garden. The pictures are stunning & that is exactly how you can expect the place to be! It's beautifully located in the midst of the banana plantations, in the barranco of Tazacorte. You have a view over the ocean from the first floor & rooftop, while you have the protection from the mountains around. Easy access & super close to the beach (like 7 minutes pleasant walk or 2 minutes by car). The owners are super friendly, and Mary helps you with everything you need. The garden is stunning, the avocado's drop at your feet. The trees in the garden give enough shade possibilities when necessary, and in the meantime you can enjoy the sun till sunset. Super cosy interior, super comfy beds, super clean, the kitchen has everything & beyond you need. There is so much space in the house & in the meantime it all feels cosy & warm. I came here to escape from Belgium winter & to work on remote. And in the meantime enjoying the beautiful hikes, beaches, restaurants, views, swimming in the ocean, flipper watching with a boot, just enjoying La Palma & it's eternal spring. The area is amazing. Hiking possibilities for every mood - even starting from the house! Tazacorte beach is so beautiful & lots of yummy restaurant options. You are at the same time hidden in your own little paradise, and at the same time super close to everything you made think of needing. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for hosting us & making our stay so comfortable & cosy!
