Truly wonderful

We loved everything about this property. Ana and Panos are exceptional hosts, so accomodating and generous with their recommendations and time. The rooms are perfect, exactly what you need. The location is 10 min walk from town (perfect distance away from the crowds) and close to other (and more affordable) shops, tavernas and cafes. We will be recommending this accomodation for everyone we know heading to Naxos!

Everything. Panos and his wife are sensational. They made everything special for us. Due to the bad weather we could not arrive in Naxos on the scheduled day and they offered an extra night free of charge. Also left a bottle of rose to greet us. As we went around the island to explore the beaches by car, they also had available a sun umbrella we could borrow every day for free. We are truly grateful for an amazing stay at Melissa Rooms Naxos. We will come back in the future and we truly recommend! Thank you!

Amazing and very accomodating host, great budget accom

This host was lovely, had some gorgeous welcome snacks and juice and so helpful and kind with everything. Would come and stay again just for how hospitable she was !

Such an amazing place with amazing staff!

Such an amazing place to stay in Naxos, not far from the center. Absolutely incredible service, any time we wanted something or asked snything we always recieved a warm answer and help. The room was cleaned every day we were there and it was really nice and clean when we got there. There was a wash basin and some laundry detergent in the bathroom which was really apprieciated so we could wash some clothes!

I can’t come up with anything really. Only bad thing was that you could at times hear the neighbours through the walls, when they closed and openes doors, but it was nothing too bad.

Awesome location, cute room, hosts were kind and helpful, also provided water bottle and snacks on arrival which was above and beyond. Easy walk from the hotel to the beach and into town, but I appreciated that it was away from the super chaotic tourist hub. Big fan of this place—I'd stay again if I came back to Naxos :)

Wifi came in and out a couple of times, but I worked from there for several days and never ran into any lasting issues. Otherwise, perfect!

We stayed at this property for six nights. The host Anna was extremely kind and approachable. She even provided us with extra towels to take to the beach on several occasions, one morning offered us a glass of fresh orange juice. Our room was very spacious with a small terrace in the back. Location is great — close to both the Agios Georgios beach, the center of Chora, and the cinema bus stop. Great restaurants around the corner. Could not have wished for a better place.

Stay away from the one in the basement...

Place is a basement and it has odors just like an unheated basement, very strong until you get used to it. :( I hate to do this to the owner but people should know about it because I'm concerned about health issues. We were offered after 2 nights to reimburse us for our full 4 nights but I declined as it is hard to find a place in mid-July. If you open the window the cars go by and then you have noise and emissions:( I would non rebook this place unless of course it was upstairs one of the many others in the same building. Again our trip was marked and spoiled because of this place... Pete & Abby

Perfect, relaxing few days on a beautiful Greek island.

Location was perfect, 10 min walk from the centre meant the street was quiet but you’re still so close to everything. Supermarket & bakery both 2 mins walk away as well. Ana was super lovely and helpful, room was clean, bed comfortable, would definitely stay again when I come back to Naxos.

Peaceful, welcoming stay for a trip to Naxos. Great for the beach, food, and touring the island.

The room was very large and had ample storage room. The AC unit was really strong, which is such a luxury in Europe. The room included a safety deposit box, a fridge, and a desk. There were also side tables for each of the beds. The host (Anna) brought fresh watermelon and fresh home-squeezed orange juice one of the mornings of my stay, which was so kind and made my trip feel so special. The hosts were very responsive via the Booking.com app and via WhatsApp. The location was really great for the duration of my stay, although it was a bit far from the port. There was a grocery store close as well as some cute cafes (you HAVE to try Heavens Cafe), and you were only about 5-10 minutes on foot from city center with many shops and restaurants and only 10 minutes walk from the beach (Agios Georgios Beach).

The balcony for my room faced the municipal parking lot, which was not the most picturesque view. Additionally, the walk from the port was between 15-20 minutes. I travelled with only a backpack, but for travelers with heavy bags it would be hard to get to the property on foot.

Great overall stay , I’d choose this again

The property was at an excellent central location like 6mins walking to the nearest beach , 10mins from restaurants and nightlife, 15mins up to the port. Amazing for a solo traveler. Great value for money. The stuff super helpful always. I had also to work while I was in Naxos and a wifi issue got solved in less than 10mins. I’d like to come back for sure.

Melissa Rooms is a great place to stay, very central, 10 min bus to the beaches and pleasant 10 minute walk to the port/town centre. The room is very clean, it gets cleaned whenever you like (just pop the sign on your door handle). The host is very lovely and friendly. We were greeted with a bowl of fruit, small cakes and water. She also gave us a little Naxos souvenir to take away with us. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Melissa Rooms :)

Value for money

The hotel was near the parking area of Chora and it was a 5-10 walk from the center. The room was very clean, the A/C was working properly and the hosts were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. Even though we booked a room in the basement, they offered us a balcony space for drying our swimwear.

Cheap and Cheerful. Good location for the buses and beaches.

Host was really friendly and helpful, providing us with information and a quick guide to the area. Only ten mins walk from Naxos Town and close to a good beach. Cleaning was impeccable and water in the fridge on arrival was a nice touch.

The bathroom was very small- you couldn't open the door fully in it and the shower doesn't have a hook so you have to hold the shower hose when you shower. The room was noisy to sleep in - the air conditioning unit was very loud and the road our room was on - the road traffic was one of the busiest roads in Naxos we think due to the one way system they have in place with the parallel high street. We had paid extra for a non-budget double room to have a balcony so this was a shame that it was so loud.
