Do not miss this hotel stay at QT Auckland if spending days in the city. Value for money.

Everything. Super location with a rooftop bar that we used as much as possible. Hotel held in cool colors and decoration. The room was spacious and with a nice ambiance that made you want to use it. The team at the hotel were always eager to go the extra mile for the guests and you felt welcome at all times.

The hotel urged the guests not to ask for room cleaning and shift of towles on a daily basis. If such a wish they need to have towel hangers with warmth so that you at all times can have a dry towel. Small things but it has to be there to support the “green ” line of sustainable approach.

Light switches impossible to use. Shower door opens wrong way. Can’t change the shower from rain to hand. Mattress uncomfortable and hot. Can’t turn off reading light separately. No guest laundry.

Hmmm not really 5 Star

Newly renovated and very stylish. Handy location and attentive staff.

Very noisy. Someone above dropped things on the floor constantly especially early morning and the acoustics meant the sounds were extremely loud in our room and so every morning we were woken very early. Basically 0 gluten free options on room service menu (excluding house salad and avocado toast). This is not a 5 star room service menu.

Love the style of the QT. The room felt impressive and was comfortable

There was a lot of dust on the framing around the toilet and shower area, as this hadn’t been cleaned for a while it made me think what else hadn’t been cleaned. Also the duvet on one of the beds was a little smelly.

Beautiful place, locatiom great - just really dark and expensive

Love the location and the decor! Very unique.

There needs to be a main source of light in bedrooms, whilst it may be part of the aesthetic it was difficult seeing in the bathroom mirror because its half dark. I also got up to go toilet and couldn’t use bathroom light - so had to walk back and use bedroom switch. Pillows were far too thick also. I felt like it was hot then cold, the temp was not well regulated. Restaurants had basic food menus, not much selection and very expensive for what it is.

Stylish hotel close to Viaduct Harbour

Our room at the QT was stylish and the bed was super comfortable. We had an outdoor deck, which was lovely for an evening drink. The rooftop bar is very good with delicious cocktails. The restaurant is good as well. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in an easy walk from the hotel. We used the valet service, which was very efficient and they even charged our EV for a very reasonable $25.

The bathroom is walled off with glass and metal making it not at all soundproof. The room is a bit on the cramped side, considering the cost, and is very dark. It's nice being very close to Viaduct Harbour, but the immediate surroundings of the hotel are a bit dead at night.

Location was good for where we needed to be...

The room was small, but the décor was nice, and the bathroom was lovely.

It was quite noisy during the night—possibly from trolleys, banging sounds, and other guests. There was also some noise from outside, which I understand can’t really be avoided, but combined, it made for a poor night’s sleep. The view from the window overlooked a road and nearby buildings, which felt disappointing given the cost.

Ok but will try somewhere else next time

We were in room 524 it was extremely noisy with the lift just by and the restaurant just up above. We could hear loud music and people yelling. Then when it closed drunk guests came to our floor and slammed doors as they went back and forth to each others rooms. Another couple had a massive fight. The shower head also smelt bad like rotten eggs. We talked to management and they moved us the next day to another room. The staff were great, rooms lovely and clean.

My breakfast was cold, noise from other guests for hours and hours and there are no movies which I just find bizarre the tv options were terrible.

Amazing location, super friendly helpful staff for a special night away.

We were provided with a complimentary drink as arrived on time for check-in but room was not ready. Really great intro to QT! Super comfortable. Incredibly friendly staff on arrival and departure. My teenager left her uggs behind - Alex was super helpful to arrange finding them and posting to us.

The hotel was very noisy, the walls must be thin or without sound proofing. The hotel was also very dark, the rooms were dark, all decor was very dark and you could see all marks from the cleaning that had been done/ dust

Excellent stay - value for money.

Lovely and spacious rooms. Quirky decor and loved the restaurant and roof top bar being within the same building. We didn’t need to leave the hotel but still felt like a night out. Staff were friendly and helpful - we had forgotten to pack toothpaste but the reception staff sorted it out for us promptly.

Only a minor but our ceiling shower didn’t work. There was something missing on the shower tap and was covered up with duct tape. The price of the spa treatments via the QT website had not been updated.

Felt like just a number. Nothing personalised. I told fable it was my birthday and all the staff knew and wished me happy birthday, we got a personalised note and cute little treat in room on arrival, such a nice touch. The QT didn’t care, it was our wedding and we stayed for 3 days and nothing to congratulate us or make the stay special.
