Alpine Apartment with Indoor Pool & Sauna - Tauplitz

The location is lovely, the view from our window in the morning was breathtaking (we arrived the night before and it was already dark). The block has a swimming pool with the same stunning view so it was definitely a lovely experience.

We felt that apart from the view and the swimming pool which was provided by nature and the apartment block the apartment itself could have been better. Looking at other reviews, I can point out exactly the same things 6 months on (the other review was from January 2025). I never had to put the bed sheets on myself in any apartment in my life. This is a studio apartment and therefore it's quite small for 4 people but it's passable, we only stayed 1 night. The bathroom ceiling takes away from the overall experience and the tap could be changed to a sink and separate bath one, but it works fine. The freezer has not been defrosted for a very long time and because of the bottom dial display moves around it takes some guesswork to figure out what setting the hob is operating on. New towels and bed sheets would be nice too. This was the most expensive apartment throughout our 1 week stay in Germany / Austria and we felt somehow disappointed.
