Why did we “fall in love” with this apartment? Mainly because of its location—with a unique view of the sea, of course, but also of Fort de Brescou, the only island in Languedoc-Roussillon, and Mount Canigou rising on the horizon (though not always... It’s mysterious and appears depending on the weather; in winter, the sight of its snow-capped peaks is magical).
You’ll feel right at home here, from breakfast to bedtime, with a view of the beach. It’s a joy when the weather is mild and warm to enjoy a rare panoramic view that lets us escape from the stresses of daily life. It’s just as wonderful in winter, when the weather is less favorable: watching the churning sea from the warmth of indoors is very pleasant.
During the high season, you’ll find everything you need right here without having to take your car (most shops are open from April through October). During the off-season, even though a car isn’t essential (there’s a bus stop just a few steps away), you’ll find everything within 2 km.
In the summer, many free activities are organized, both during the day and in the evening, for all ages (sports and family games, beach games, shows, dance parties, wine and local produce fairs, traditional and farmers’ markets, the Miss Cap d’Agde pageant, etc.).
Spring and fall also offer plenty of activities and ideal temperatures for sightseeing (without suffering from the heat or long wait times, as the seaside resort is less crowded during these seasons).
Is cultural tourism your passion? Even from November through March, you can indulge it: from your seaside retreat, it’s easy to explore the surrounding villages and towns at your own pace, attend shows, and visit exhibitions, all in the relaxed rhythm of winter.

The destination is well-connected (SNCF train station, two airports within an hour’s drive—Perpignan, Nîmes, Carcassonne) or less (Béziers, Montpellier), four others within 2 hours (Toulouse, Marseille, Castres, Rodez), with train or bus connections to Agde. Or you can rent a car directly from the airport.
