Maison de Marie

Beautiful flat on the upper level of a nice house with a big garden, the balcony is really big and has an amazing sea view and perfect to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine! The flat was very clean, everything is in good shape or new, the beds very confortable and there are moskito nets on every window. The location is great, just a few minutes walk away from a minimarket/bakery and cafés/restaurant. You‘re not located on the busy main street which goes around the island so you don‘t have that traffic. Maria & Thakis were really kind and welcomed us with delicious homemade cookies. our kids loved them and there were really nice to be around. The communication was easy clear and all went smoothly.

Two things that are not a problem but which we not clear to me when I read the description of the flat: - there is no living room in the flat (It‘s three bedrooms, a small area/hall with kitchen). There is only a mini table for two inside, so you can’t eat inside (we were a family of 5), which wasn‘t an issue for us because the balcony is huge and has a big table to have the meals. - You are not alone: the owners live downstairs which wasn‘t an issue for us because they are so sweet and also discret - the flat is on the first floor, so to enjoy the patio/eat there, you have to walk stairs up/down.

We loved staying in Maison de Marie. Maria and Takis are wonderful people and always ready to help with anything. The view from the balcony is amazing too.

We had a lovely stay at Maison de Marie! The place has a terrace with a lovely view, great ammenities, lovely garden, a small kitchen with all you need for cooking, the. garden with the barbeque at your dispozal. The owners are very nice and friendly people and very responsive to your needs. we enjoyed our stay there :)

Our 15 days stay at Maison de Marie was a fulfilled dream of total relaxation. The house is very comfortable and gives an opportunity to have a quiet vacation in beautiful environment. Simultaneously there is a store, bakery, meat market just around the corner. There is plenty of beaches near. The hosts - Maria and Takkis were really hospitable, very smiley and always ready to help without disturbing as at all, it was a pleasure to meet them. We will for sure come again!
