Hotel El Molino

Ample, free parking. Dog friendly with plenty of country walks. The restaurant was excellent with a good choice of a la carte meals. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The staff were most helpful.

The bathroom was dated and we didn't use the over-bath shower. This hotel could do more to attract custom by having a brighter reception area with clear signs for the bar and information about meal times. I've read some other reviews and am not surprised that some people report the frontage as appearing somewhat "abandoned"

This was a nice hotel in a good location between Bilbao and Alicante. Travelling with dogs i was able to take them for walks without being on busy roads.

I thought I had found a perfect hotel to break our journey between Bilbao and Alicante and back. Sadly my husband seems to have left some trousers behind in the room we stayed in. I fully intended to rebook the hotel for the journey home, so thought we could collect the trousers when we staye on our return journey. However, having emailed the hotel direct, additionally emailed through this site and also sent a message through this site, the hotel did not respond. I was so disappointed as I really thought we would return many times.

Very welcoming staff, went out of their way to help with bags and bicycle storage. Opened restaurant early as we had been cycling all day. Really friendly people. OK breakfast included and no objections to extra coffees.
