Location is perfect! Everything is near or easy to get there because the subway is also a couple steps from the Hostel. They have many activities and perfect ambiance. They also have a bar with a view of the city and live music frequently. I loved it.

The only two things I would suggest improving are: -The showers need a non-slip mat. I saw several girls slipping and almost falling because the floor was so slippery. It’s dangerous. -The smell of cigarette smoke is quite strong in the stairwell. There are “No Smoking” signs, but people smoke there throughout the day. Since smoking makes them cough, they often spit up phlegm, so there is frequently phlegm on the stairs

My room didn’t have a window

The location is gold. Super central, extremely close to a subway station and the Bell Tower, which makes life easier when going to/coming back from tours and/or exploring the city. The room is comfortable, the bed is big and the cleaning staff change the towels every day.

The reception staff is somewhat friendly at check-in and then that's it. Afterwards, you're basically on your own. Need to wash your clothes? They won't help you to deal with the laundry/drying machine in the laundry room: you have to take your clothes there (which makes sense), take a picture of the qr code, go back to the reception and then go back to the laundry room to make sure the machines are running. Doing this after a full day of walking around the city/temples/tours is uncalled for. It would be much easier if they would simply walk with you and help you out there. I found a t-shirt in a drying machine, I folded it and took it to the reception so they could keep it in a lost and found or something, only to be told that I should bring the t-shirt back to the laundry room and put it in a basket there. There were two people in the reception at this time and neither of them were willing to take 1 freaking minute of their phones to either receive the forgotten t-shirt or to take it back to the laundry room themselves. And that's not the worst part. The reception is open 24/7 but the staff is ALWAYS on their phones (also 24/7) chatting, playing, watching reels and whatnot. At one point, one of the girls in the reception answered to a video call while I was standing in front of her asking her to help me get in contact with my tour guide, which I found really rude. She called my guide - who didn't answer - and instead of trying again or telling me that the call didn't go through or no one picked up, she kept on her video call and let me stand there. When I asked her to try again she didn't try to hide her being bothered by me interrupting her video call while at work dealing with a guest. Last but not least: I've stayed in multiple hostels before and they all inform you at least a little bit about the facilities and events in the hostel. Not this one, though.
