TEREZA GOLD - Studio Apartment

Nettes kleines,modern eingerichtetes Appartement, einige Kleinigkeiten waren nicht in Ordnungen.Zu Fuß zur Stadt ca. 10 Minuten, wie auch zum nächstgelegenen Strand, der aber in der Hochsaison zu voll ist. Restaurant schräg gegenüber,wo aber auch schon mal der Grillgeruch abends rüberkam. Von der Durchgangsstraße kam schon mal Lärm von Motorrädern rüber,hauptsächlich am Wochenende.Ansonsten aber Nachts einigermaßen ruhig. Sehr zu empfehlen ist es, ein Fahrrad dabeizuhaben, um durch den wundervollen Park mit altem Baumbestand an den schönen Buchten entlangzufahren, wo man sich dann dort ein ruhiges Plätzchen suchen kann. Vom Appartement aus ist man dort in fünf Minuten.

Die modern und schön eingerichtete Wohnung von Igor besteht aus einem mittelgroßen Wohnraum mit bequemem Doppelbett und einer modernen Küchenzeile. Das Bad ist ebenfalls modern und die Deckendusche funktioniert sehr gut. Wegen der hohen Temperaturen war die Klimaanlage extrem hilfreich. Diese funktionierte sehr gut und kühlte den Wohnraum schnell herunter. Der große Balkon bietet genügend Platz für mindestens 2 Personen. Es war sehr angenehm dort den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen Nebenstraße in einer schönen Stadtteil. Zur Stadt sind es zu Fuß 15 bis 20 Minuten, was wir als absolut zufriedenstellend empfanden. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmte auch. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

What we didn't appreciate about staying at Igor's apartment is that when we ran out of toilet paper and soap, he asked us to buy them on our own. This is ridiculous, considering that "the essentials" are part of what you pay for. If we knew this in advance, we would have brought our own toilet paper and soap or haven't booked the apartment after all because, well, in my years of Airbnb experience and after loads of stays, this is the first time a host asks me to get toilet paper and soap for them. When we arrived at the apartment, there were two and a half rolls of toilet paper and half the bottle of liquid soap left in the dispenser. Since we stayed in Rovinj for a week with a limited amount of check-in luggage, we of course didn't bother to carry rolls of toilet paper and soap in our luggage. When I asked Igor if we could get more toilet paper because we are running out of it, he said "they provide some initially but I should get the rest at the market." After sending him a screenshot of his own listing, he managed to drop 3 extra rolls at our door. Then on Sunday, when the shops were closed and we were left without a soap, Igor again repeated that they leave some soap at first and we should get it ourselves if we don't have it anymore. So then we spent our day, looking for a shop that is open and getting some soap so that we can wash our hands. Not only it did not make any sense to get a whole pack of soap and 6 rolls of toilet paper for the last 2 days we had left in the apartment, but we also felt tricked into paying for the "essentials" for Igor's next guest. So it was also very likely that the soap and toilet paper we have been using since the beginning were the leftovers from the previous guest and not necessarily what Igor has provided us. Although a nice way for Igor to save some money and freeload on his guests' essential need for hygiene, this was really a not very pleasant guest experience for us. We are fine with getting these ourselves but then we also think Igor should at least have the decency to make it clear and known in his ad that he expects the guests to pay for their toilet paper once they run out of it. That is why I can't recommend this apartment to future guests. On the other hand, the apartment is tiny but clean and we were able to check-in early so it is something that is worth mentioning.
