ASTRA Village Resort

Locatia este foarte ingrijita si curata. In camera se face curatenie in fiecare zi. Micul dejun este bogat, poate corespunde tuturor cerintelor si relativ variat de la zi la zi. Vederea la mare este buna. Locatia dispune de parcare privata, un magazin propriu. Are restuarant, insa nu am luat cina aici, pentru ca exista foarte multe taverne in orasele unde poti petrece serile. Locatia are o piscina foarte bine amenjata, am folosit-o o singura data, la sosire, pentru ca insula are plaje deosebite (dar exista suficienti turisti clienti din Marea Britanie cazati aici care prefera exclusiv piscina :) ).

Este situata in apropierea aeroportului, la decolarea avioanelor zgomotul devine deranjant (pe noi nu ne-a deranjat, pentru ca programul de zbor este acceptabil, dupa 8 AM si pana in 11 PM). Locatia este relativ retrasa, ar trebui sa existe recomandarea certa ca accesul cu masina sa se faca dinspre aeroport, altfel aleile de acces sunt foarte inguste. Prosoapele se schimba la 3 zile (in realitate dupa 4 zile), ceea ce nu corespunde clasificarii de 4 stele. Ai dreptul doar la doua seturi de prosoape de piscina gratis (pe mine nu m-a deranjat, dat fiind faptul ca preferam plajele).

The hotel is still a great place to visit. Both the staff and other guests are always friendly. The swimming pool is lovely. We stayed in room 41 which was on the ground floor overlooking the gardens. It’s very peaceful. Very convenient for access from the airport and close to Ammes beach. The bar area is great and live music every night is great. We stayed here one night before moving on to a villa. It’s a great place to visit and we’ll be back again.

The restaurant serving area looked smaller than it was last year and the choice of food seemed more limited. There was limited fresh fruit and no fresh orange juice except concentrate from a machine. The scrambled egg and bacon was however delicious. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are too hard.

we did arrive early and waited by the bar. the room when booked said we could go to room at 2 o'clock but after waiting in the front reception for over 2 plus hours as the room was not ready. we were very hot and wanted to get showered after our journey. we were only there for one night. after waiting and waiting we got our bathers out and went in the pool. the pool is amazing and sun bed fantastic. eventually we got our room which was ok had everything you needed but no extras after a night sleep with air con not making the room cold at all and the shower tray was blocked from our shower the night before which smelt dreadful. we thought well thank goodness we are only here one night, breakfast ok meal the night before just ok. location to airport great. go back to hotel no. there are better hotels in that location we have stayed in we feel we would go to first. staff were lovely but when i pointed out about our shower tray being blocked the lady tried to say it was down to my long hair which she felt got the plug blocked.
