Facilities on site and close by - tent well-stocked. Food in pub good value, breakfast excellent.
Odd driver doing 40+ in the 20mph zone past the pub

The bell tent was so clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all amenities catered for! The staff were all lovely and the food in the pub was delicious!
Nothing we didn’t like! The location is “in the middle of nowhere” but this became a bonus for us as we drove to different places during our stay so visited more of the island!

The property is located in a quiet, rural area that is away from all the hustle and bustle which is perfect. The campsite, grounds, pub, facilities were all clean and well taken care of. The staff were always seen cleaning and always asked if everything was okay. The staff were very happy to help and always had a smile on their faces. Absolutely outstanding weekend away and I couldn’t fault it.
The only negative I could say is that the showers were a push button and were a little inconvenient but having said that, it’s a camp site and it’s expected. Overall, absolutely no problems.

Great facilities and fantastic food at the pub. That Breakfast was included was a lovely surprise.
I’d forgotten how noisy tents are! Usually stay in my teardrop caravan with much better insulation. No fault of the site, which is fabulous.

Weather was not ideal for the type of property, but in good weather would have been much better

Well equipped on a nice location. Toilet and shower block was very clean. Really good full English breakfast with plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing really, overall very happy.

Staff and onsite facilities where good everything was clean
For a glamping tent, the tent itself was fine but it all seemed abit run down the electrics were messy and the outside of the tent would benefit from cleaning as it was mossy and dirty (£580 we paid for 4 nights) one chair had bent legs and one chair was ripped. I got the impression it was all built a good standard then has had very little upkeep I cut my ankle on a screw sticking out from a wooden border separating the gravel from the grass walking to the toilets at night

Clean, has great facilities such as toilet shower ect. The tent was very comfortable and I was impressed that the bed wasn’t on the floor. The breakfast was perfect.

Great welcoming pub with lovely staff and nice modern decor. Great choice of food. We had breakfast and evening meal for 2 days. Dog friendly. We stayed in a camping pod which was clean with everything you need. Good shower and toilet facilities.
Bed was very soft so not good for me with a bad back but that was my fault because I assumed it was a double bed not a camp bed so probably fine for anyone else.

Noisy crows outside the tent! Not really much you can do about that😊

On arrival everything was a positive. No negative signage, all positive. Friendly staff, and nothing was too much trouble. Having our chunky lab with us was no issue. Food was excellent. Our tent was amazing very comfy. Small touches made it really homely.
Being able to only stay 2 nights, work gets in the way!

The tent, the showers, the breakfast and the staff were all great.
The bed. Weird lumpy mattress with springs sticking out and no padding. Couldn't sleep because of the pain and had to spread spare single quilt under us to try to mitigate. Also no headboard so pillows just fell off the back.
The loos. Incorporated into the shower rooms so you had to wait for someone to finish their shower before a toilet became vacant. Very inconvenient. Would be much better to have a couple of separate loos.

Had a brilliant three night stay in the 'Gwen' Bell Tent which was the larger of the two tents on site. We we happy to see ours was next to the hedge, and we had our own small grassy area out the back with table and chairs, and somewhere where our dog could stretch her legs. Tea and coffee making facilities, juice, milk and other beverages were provided along with towels and a tv for entertainment. The power did trip a couple of times in the evening , but this was quickly resolved by staff in the pub.
We had mixed weather during our stay, but each night we were warm and cosy as there was ample duvets and blankets/ pillows provided. And the little electric heater warmed the tent quite adequately.
There are four shared bathrooms on the campsite, and I have to say they are the cleanest I've ever experienced whilst camping, so that was pleasing. The showers were hot and there was always plenty of loo roll etc. They were also lovely and warm. A small utility room adjacent to the toilets had lots of leaflets on local information/days out etc.
Each morning we had breakfast in the pub which was excellent. Lots of variety of cold items including juices, yogurts, fruits cereals and pastries. And a large varied menu of hot foods. We had the full welsh breakfast everyday and it was delicious.
The breakfast staff even cooked our collie her own sausage each morning and was given lots of fuss and attention which she loved.
We ate in the pub on the Sunday evening, and that too was wonderful.
With regards to days out, we managed to cram in so much during our long weekend. But the highlights of our trip included
- Parys Mountain Copper Mine
- The old Printworks
- Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber
- Llanddwyn Island
- Treaddur Bay ( stunning)
- Cemeas Bay
- Southstack Lighthouse
- Sandy Beach
- The Oyster Catcher Rhosneiger ( lovely food)
Really enjoyed our stay at The Ring, and we will be back :)

Very comfortable everything you need considering you are staying in a tent. The fire is lovely and the bed is very comfy. Television, all manner of hot drinks and a kettle to get extra comfortable and listen to the wind and rain. Very nice and relaxing. The hosts are very nice and can't do enough to help you. It's a family run, family and dog friendly establishment of the luxury kind. This place caters for touring motor homes, B&B guests and the glamping tents. The pub is very very tastefully decorated with some stunning seasonal floral arrangements sweeping throughout the elegant, somewhat timeless decor. It's a very nice touch that in the seating area of the pub there is a selection of up market looking Welsh local produce at reasonable prices all made from Wales and the local area. I am really very please we decided to stay here and feel very recharged.
There isn't anything not to like about the property. The shower block is great and modern, lovely hot water and all hooks and so on to hang belongings and very clean. If you do visit and are hoping to be near some attractions it might be worth noting you will need a vehicle and after dark it's impossible to see in front of you, this was perfect for myself and partner as we love to explore.

Breakfast was fantastic. Shower/toilet block good. Washing facilities great. Location as long as you have a vehicle is brilliant. Extremely dog friendly
We had a fantastic stay however, if you are not comfortable around dogs, for example you have allergies then this would not be the place for you. You also need your own transport. We didn't see a single bus or taxi our entire stay and there is no Uber on the island.

Nothing apart from it was cold when the fire went out but that’s our fault for going at the beginning of April!

Breakfast was excellent, multiple choice of hot and cold food and really delicious
The shower and toilet block needed a lot of work doing, but the owners had already addressed this matter and work is being done this October.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the tent that I stayed in could not have been cleaner and the location is stunning and close to everything that I wanted to explore. The pub itself also serves amazing tasty food.
I can’t wait to visit again and see the upgraded shower/toilet block that is planned.
