APARTAMENTOS TURÍSTICOS GUIANA

What a great location in Ponferrada, directly opposite the castle, with wonderful views. Restaurants below were a little noisy at times, though we found we were able to sleep well, due to the comfortable bed. Room was spotlessly clean and also has a washing machine, which was useful for us. Additionally, there is an elevator to access the upper floors. We would happily stay here again.

Nothing

Fantastic location, clean, modern and functional apartment. Well organized

We had some communication issues. Email via booking.com worked fine. Didn’t receive the entry code through WhatsApp don’t know why it didn’t work and I nearly went to get myself another hotel room. Finally they communicated through booking.com and I got the code, albeit very late. They apologized - fair enough, things like this can happen

Everything

Ponferrada is a little expensive for eat out

It was perfectly located across from the castle and near two restaurants. Large apartment VERY clean (other than a gross cup in the cupboard when I went to make tea). Very Nice building. Helpful staff at check in.

Horrible night’s sleep. I can’t even tell you how disappointed I was after a huge day on the Camino to be in the basement level apartment 1 and to hear every single thing above me from 10 Pm to 1 am. The beds were tough to get comfortable on and the smell of detergent on the sheets was too chemically. If you read my reviews you will see I very rarely ever criticize a place but while this a beautiful place with lovely, large, clean and modern apartments, this was one of my worst nights sleep. Maybe request a different apartment?
