Being right by the water was perfect, a short walk down a few stairs and you were there, ready to swim in the beautiful water. We were warmly welcomed and fresh bread and a platter of goodies, a lovely touch.

We stayed for seven days with Ljiljana and found an oasis of peace and quietness in her apartment and care and kindness of Ljiljana as a very committed host. As we were here around New Year we found a very warm welcome in food and drinks. Her sons were around these days and as a whole family they made us feel welcome during these family-days! The sun was outstanding these December/ January -days and made us not wanting to leave Ljiljanas place and just enjoy the views, the sounds of the sea, the sunsets and the grill on the balcony... We can only imagine how this place would look like during spring and summer... We guess we’ll just have to return! A hidden gem with a warm-hearted host! What more could we have asked for to start this New Year?!

It’s located right by the sea in a quiet part of Korčula. We had a big balcony with a pine trees and nice island view. Extremely peaceful and quiet. The sea sound can be heard even in the living room. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the turquoise sea, drinking coffee, eating, working, watching the sunset etc.
The house is full of trees and different plants and flowers. Our apartment was very well furnished with well preserved, older style wooden furniture. We loved the style very much, more than modern, as if living in old Croatia. It had a lot of places to put thing away for our long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and an electric grill on the balcony. Thus we cooked and grilled a lot of fresh fish.
We stayed for a month and it was one of the best stays in Croatia despite March being full of Buras. In summer it must be amazing to be able to jump into a water right next to the house.
Best of all, the host Ljiljana is one of the most generous and kind hearted persons. She took care of us as if we were her family: fresh fish, squid, octopus, olive oil, lemons, and welcomed us with wine and cold cuts. We were very touched and it made our long stay very special. Thank you very much!
