Red Oak Quiet, Peaceful, Relaxing overall A Great Get Away Cabin!!!!

I was surprised that the cabin was as nice and clean as it was! Never even saw an ant! Everything you need to enjoy your time. Bed was very clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked so well on 90ish degree days, plenty of pots. Pans, plates, glasses, coffee cups etc. We were surprised to see coffee, coffee filters, salt and pepper, lots of clean towels. Etc. I had to sweep, put wet linens in the shower, do our dishes, just a small amount of requests before we left. I was so pleased I did extra and wiped everything down and cleaned the bathroom, swept the front porch and outside rugs. I can't say enough good things about this place. Try it out, you won't be disappointed! The owner just left us here info and said to contact her with problems or questions and we were never bothered by anyone. All I can say is if I come back to the area, we will be staying here again. Thanks for making it a relaxing time before my surgery next week.

Everything was fantastic! Very clean and had Everything fully stocked. Pots,pans, flatware, utensils, paper products, really anything one would bring just in case. Bonus for all cast iron enthusiasts, there was a skillet and a cobbler pot. (Please don't use soap on these, keep it seasoned) the host was great with giving us all the information that we needed ahead of time and checking in was effortless. Clear instructions on the rules and expectations. (Very forgiving and reasonable). Martha and her husband met us while we were checking out, (we were cutting it close to the check out time). Lovely people, they wanted to make sure we had a great time. Them showing up right at 11 shows commitment to see people off in a positive manner while getting everything ready on time for the next customer. There are several cabins on the property, but they are well spaced apart and people were quite. My only complaint is in the description I remember reading off the amenities list to my mom and it said that there was a washer/dryer in this cabin. There is not one in red oaks cabin. There may be in some of the others on the property. Overall a 9.8/10. With an update on the washer/dryer claim 10/10. Thank you Martha!

We loved our stay! Cabin is cute and cozy and even tho there are 2 other cabins we felt secluded. Marsha and Ron were super helpful and pleasant. Only hiccup is the lock box was a little bit tricky. Will definitely come back!
