Colorway Apartment

We were greeted in person by the owner’s daughter, who kindly helped us park, gave us a tour of the apartment, and handed over the keys. Communication with the host throughout our stay was excellent. The apartment is located in the lower ground floor (semi-basement) of a peaceful residential building with no commercial spaces or restaurants. Despite this, the hosts went above and beyond by bringing us a warm, delicious breakfast both mornings, which was a fantastic bonus! The location is great, within easy walking distance to all major attractions in the Old Town, including Skadarlija, Knez Mihailova, and Kalemegdan. Right across the street from where we parked, there is also a lovely café/bar with a green garden oasis that is perfect for morning coffee.

Likely due to the sami-basement position, humidity in the apartment is elevated. The host has installed a dehumidifier that runs continuously, which keeps the stay manageable and comfortable enough, but moisture is still noticeable, especially in the bathroom.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is good, 20 min walk to the centre of Belgrade. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and communication with the owner was smooth and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast option could be selected the evening before, making mornings convenient.

The only downside was that the apartment is on the underground level (-1). It had a slight cellar-like smell

House owner was very polite and fast responsive. Free car parking in a secure garden was also good for us. There was a great restaurant just in the same street which we enjoyed.

Our room was very dark, in the basement floor - I don`t know if their all rooms like this. I don`t like basement floors as I want sunshine when I wake up. Other than this, it meet our expextations.

We liked the way appartment is designed and the stuff who was very helpful. Also, the breakfast and the internet connection were very good.

There is a strong smell of dampness (mold), the appartment is situated at the basement and has no natural light. We booked the appartment for 4 nights, but because of the above mentioned reasons we had to cancel the booking for the last 3 nights and move to a better appartment. The stuff was kind and offered to refund us for the remaining nights if we find a better place.
