Bonaire Beach House

Gepflegtes Haus und Außenanlage mit genügend Liegestühlen, Sitzplätzen auf 2 Terrassen, sehr netter Vermieter, der bis nachts 2:30 Uhr auf uns gewartet hat und uns persönlich in Empfang genommen hat

Victor (host) was great, met us at the Villa late at night (we got delayed at the car hire desk) and walked us around the accommodation, he said he was contactable if we required anything. Such a lovely Villa. Family really enjoyed are stay. Would recommend

The house is big indeed and have a garage where we safely closed our bikes. Also the owner was really friendly and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. The house was also clean and well prepared for the guests. The location is quiet but far from the center - if you want to go for groceries or restaurants/bars - you need to have a car or a bike. But we knew what we have been taking in terms of distance so this is just for the information. Quiet surrounding is a plus.

The house is incredibly cold. If you want to spend there time when outside is between 15-20 degrees you need to turn the heating on in every room. And, although we heated only when we were at home (basically mornings, evenings and nights in the bed rooms), we spent additional 100 euro for electricity usage for a 1-week stay. It's a lot and you need to calculate this when traveling here. And still we felt really cold there... There is basically no hot water in the house. Ok it is - but it lasts for 3 minutes of shower for one person. We were 3 and maybe 2 or 3 times I had hot water to take a shower. Nothing annoys me more, especially when you pay additional 100 euro for heating... and couldn't imagine if you rent a house for more than 3 persons - maybe the first one could have a privilege to take a hot shower. Another thing - when you want to cook something or make a laundry the electricity is turning off unexpectedly so you need to go to the garage and turn it back again. Annoying as it happend several times when we tried to heat a simple pizza in the oven.
