Serifos Olive

We chose Serifos to have a relaxing getaway.. I loved exploring the small lanes in Chora and finding our way up to the castle. Everyone was very friendly and laid-back. We did hire a car as the bus wasn't running fully and the landscape and beaches were stunning. In May it was sunny and windy and it was great having a beautiful home to return to and relax in. The home was very comfy, with a great shower after swimming in the sea. The kitchen was well set up and we had most things we needed. The roof terrace was amazing with great sea views.

We were at the start of the season and not everything was open. The supermarket nearest the port had the best provisions and on the last day discovered the cafe above the supermarket, that was also great. On our last evening we found a small taverna in Chora called Marathoriza that served traditional Greek dishes, that were delicious. As is pointed out there are a lot of steps in Chora and access to the roof terrace is outside, but the views are worth it.

The property has two terraces, which is great for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. The fire is spectacular, the house is very clean, with a very responsive host, who is also very helpful!

Super easy instructions to get there (even a video to find the front door) and convenient key box to get access to the house. Welcoming, responsive and super helpful host. The place is decorated with taste and well kept, clean and tidy. The wifi was good and reliable even from the rooftop. I could imagine working from the rooftop terrace for a few weeks in current conditions.

Beautifully decorated and furnished property. Really peaceful and private but close to restaurants etc. Large terrace with gorgeous views. Very well equipped kitchen.
