Perfect Lake Michigan stay right on the lake! Beautiful sunset views! Easy walk to and from the beach. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Kitchen well stocked to make meals and comfortable beds. Enjoyed making s'mores over the fire pit and relaxing on the deck. Wish we had booked a few more nights.

This view of Lake MI is spectacular from our primary suite and living room and deck. We were able to take a 3 and 4 year old to the beach and swim, and return anytime to the home when they needed a break. We grilled out and didn’t go to restaurants. Sitting on the deck, one evening at sunset, we got a spectacular show of hundreds of dragonflies showing off their graceful flight patterns all around us. It lasted for 20 minutes and was great magical fun for the family. The water was refreshing for swimming and safe shores for little ones to play. if you are looking for a family beach vacation close to home without the hassles of flight and dangers of the ocean this is the place to be!

Excellent home, well appointed! Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, good linens. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for large family. Furniture is in good condition. Directly on the beach with private walkway to Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to town. Owner was very quick to respond to questions and generous with extended checkout time! Our stay at the townhome on Miller Beach was wonderful! The house was well supplied, very clean, and very comfortable. But the best part was the beautiful views of Lake Michigan. We enjoyed morning walks on the beach and evening happy hours watching the sunsets. The owners were very accommodating to our requests. There were only 4 of us, so we had lots of room to relax inside and out. Great place to vacation!

We loved this condo. Great area compared to other beaches we went to. Lake access is literally steps out of the yard and over the dune to a clean well kept beach. Beds were comfortable, furnishings and extras like laundry detergent were exactly what we needed. Great stay for our family.

We went to the beach every day and it was nice to be able to easily go back to the house to eat lunch, take a break, etc. We grilled out, used the hammock, had smores over the fire pit. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Steps from a nice beach. Check in was easy, owners polite and attentive, plenty of room for everyone. Be aware that with three levels, there were a lot of stairs, and temperature control was tricky. However, I would stay again, and would recommend the property.

This was a great place – clean, bright, comfortable, beautiful, and ideally situated to enjoy the beach and the national park! I found everything just as described. And the view!!!! It was so relaxing, such a great place to come back to after exploring the area and the Park. The host’s communication was prompt and clear, he responded quickly to my requests, was flexible and even checked in to see how things were going during my visit. The owners were amazing to work with! Property was in a great location from the beach. Just a short walk on your own private path to get to the beach. Also, conveniently located next to a great spot to get ice cream for the kids! The outdoor area was perfect, the kids could play in the sand and they had an outdoor fire pit that was used at night. This was an awesome place to stay!! Right on the beach and so convenient to the National Park. It was incredibly relaxing, the view of the beach was amazing. It was great to be able to just walk out the back door and be on the beach. It was exactly as advertised, and the owners were so quick to respond and very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Rex was great - even checked in with me during the stay to see if everything was OK! Our crew of 2 couples with 4 little boys spent an awesome weekend here at Rex & Peggy's place and couldn't have had a better time. The townhouse was beautiful and clean, plenty of space for everyone and super comfortable. We made all our own meals and there was a perfectly equipped kitchen. Can't speak to the local food scene because we never left the property, except for the beach of course! The views from the house are spectacular. The beach was never too crowded and the kids spent every minute they could out there. The entire property is well maintained, plenty of seating, am immaculate charcoal grill with all the gear needed to cook on it. Great fire pit and adarondack chairs, sadly the weather never cooperated for us to get out there and use it at night. Rex and Peggy were great hosts, answered any questions we had and even dropped off more dishwasher pods when we ran low. We just couldn't have been more pleased. Already dreaming of coming back next summer. Cheers!

We had THE BEST time at this beach house! We actually agreed it was our best family vacation ever. We stayed for almost a week with our kids. We had three amazing beach days (the location seriously could not be better, steps from the white sand beach), and we went to Chicago for 2 full days (it's less than an hour away). The property is clean and is really well laid out. The master bedroom is tucked upstairs with gorgeous views, the living area has great views too and a nice sense of flow with dining, kitchen, and sitting areas. Big TVs were great for watching sports and movies. My kids loved staying in the bunk room downstairs. All in all this property was perfect for us -- we are already making plans to come back next year!

We used Rex & Peggys House for a one Week Vacation the get away from the daily hustle&bustle. It was the perfect stay, better than one can Imagine. The house is very beautiful and filled with lots of love and very nice details, and there is definetely everything one could need for a perfect stay. Already the stunning view from the terrace, followed by walking up with the most beautiful lake view and then preparing a coffee whilst enjoying the lake view from the perfect equipped kitchen. The outdoor facilities had everything we could wish for, from a hammock over a grill and direct access to the beach. There is more than enough space in the whole house and for rainy days there is a lovely fireplace in the living room. We enjoyed this week so much and we will for sure return the next time we are in the states. The owners Rex and Peggy are super lovely and caring so whenever you need help the will be there to support. Thanks a lot for this great stay in your lovely house. Marcus & Family

The property was perfect for my family. We were in town for a funeral and it was a last minute reservation. The home owner was very accommodating and easy to contact with questions. The view of the lake is spectacular. The beach is clean. On a clear day Chicago's skyline is right in front of you.

Loved the property- great location on the beach but not much else around. In the future I would bypass the restaurants (except for Goblin and the Grocer-awesome!) and just stay at the property the entire time. The appliances are outdated and there were only a few pans available (had to make eggs in a boiling pot) but the location and the outdoor amenities you can’t beat!

I honestly was dubious when my husband told me that we should consider Miller Beach for a beachfront rental; but we did it anyway. And it was wonderful. The beach was perfect, quite clean, and very friendly people everywhere. We were at the Well's Beach section and it a great mix of just enough people to be interesting without being crowded. And best of all the kids thought it was just right for them. More importantly, I cannot say enough about the townhome we rented from Rex & Peggy at 9449 Lake Shore Drive. It was spotless clean, beautifully decorated and was fully stocked with anything we might have needed for our stay. The townhome is literally steps from the beach and was close enough that we could watch our teenagers from the patio. We had the best views of the lake with some terrific sunsets right there. I just wish our phone cameras were up to doing the lake views some justice. Rex and Peggy have the best customer service ethos ever and it was a pleasure to deal with them on everything. They were great and were amazingly responsive for every question we had, even when late in the evening. All in all, it was our first time and we shall be returning (hopefully often!). PS-The weather was perfect as well; but I hesitate to give Rex and Peggy credit for that as well...:)

Everyone loved this spot for our first family gathering since COVID vaccinations :). Beautiful townhouse steps from the beach! The well known dunes national park is 15 mins by car, but there are also dune trails within walking distance of the house at West Beach AND it is possible to launch kayaks from the beach or the nearby Marquette Lagoon. Lovely views of the lake and sunset without leaving the house.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The property is very well-kept, inside and outside. The outside appears to have been painted and renovated. Rooms are good-sized, kitchen well-equipped. Information about the area is on a kitchen bulletin board. We stayed in the winter (February) and found the scenery fascinating. We did some hiking in the national park and walked on the nearby beach and neighborhood. This is a great location to visit the national park!

The home was very clean and smelled good as soon as we walked in. Rex was accommodating and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back to enjoy this home again.

You can hear the waves crashing and see the Chicago skyline. The townhome was immaculately clean. All of the touches in the home were much more upscale then most VRBOs I have stayed in. There was everything you needed in the kitchen to cook. The wood burning fireplace was so cozy. We went into the city for a few hours one day and it was a very easy 40 min drive. My only complaint was that the toilet paper was very cheap, one ply. But really that’s stretching to find a compliant. I 100% would stay here again.
