Perfect stay for this village and travel to Touquet

Perfect stay. Very nice building, easy going staff and all clean and as expected. Parking is free in this nice little town.

The season was over, so no bar or cosy place at night in the hotel. But if needed we could ask

Convenient and quiet charm

This is a lovely spot which we used whilst playing golf up the road at Le Touquet. I was a bit disappointed with the room to be honest, since the place was empty apart from us, felt they could have upgraded us.... Nonetheless, comfortable , clean, good WIFI and all in a stylish building with attractive courtyard and a decent breakfast. Cant fault the communication and they were good enough to book us a table at The Pot du Clape. Parking outside and it seems a safe residential neighbourhood a short walk from the main square. I would probably have gone for breakfast there too as lots of cafes open and thriving although obviously past the main tourist season

Room was a bit basic in terms of decoration, I was expecting something more in keeping with the style of the building but comfy bed and a great shower which was very welcome after our round of golf

Lovely room, great location. Easy to find parking nearby. Quiet.

Breakfast first morning was very good, plenty of coffee, juice and fresh bread/pastries. Second morning coffee had run out, juices were not replenished and the bread and pastries tasted as if they were from the previous day. 16€ each!

Beautiful historic hotel close to all the bars, restaurants and shops.

Loved the beautiful old building and interiors. It was very quiet yet very close to the centre of town. Staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely relaxing outdoor courtyard to sit and chill with a book.

Breakfast not great for 13 euros. Shower floor very slippery No hotel parking and nearby parking busy

Not sure about this place...

Nice hotel. Lady at reception was nice.

Plug in sink did not work, toilet seat loose, room was never cleaned or replenished with tea, coffee or milk. Wet towels never changed, just left over the towel rail. Advertised with water and chocolates in the room. Didn't happen during our stay. Would not recommend the 21 euro breakfast, but only if you like lots of bread. The waiter was very patronising. All in all, missing the basics.

Very pleasant, the staff were great and the hotel was very French!

We only had the breakfast once as it was very much bread and croissants etc (Viennoiserie)

Refills of the tea and coffee sachets would have been good as there was a kettle in our room A box of tissues would also be useful.

Everything was perfectly fine, and the one member of staff we met was very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant, and the location good.

I was expecting a little more, given such very good reviews. Perhaps the rooms within the main house - we had a separate entrance from the courtyard - provide a better experience. Perhaps the fact it seemed very quiet - with no staff around much of the time - affected the atmosphere.

This was by a long way the best of the three hotels we stayed in for this year’s French holiday.

Character, nicely and tastefully decorated and furnished. Manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Well situated in the town and easy proximate free parking.

Room exceeded expectations and really liked the in room facilities. Staff were friendly ( although we only ever met one !! ) but he was attentive / informative and helpful. Hotel is central to town and everything is walkable . The style and cleanliness of the Hotel is fantastic .. Very Chic !!

There are very limited eating ( apart from breakfast ) facilities at the hotel and even getting a beer proved difficult . But knowing those are restricting factors , you make decisions to find those locally and there are an abundance of bars / restaurant's in the town to meet everyone's pocket .

Overall, it was a fabulous stay. Staff could not have done more to accomodate our every wish.

Liked - the location, the beautiful and super courtyard, our own terrace in the sun, the so friendly, helpful and personal service, getting our breakfast in our own dining room when a group had comandeered the main breakfast room.

Our room had only one chair and no drawers.

Beautiful, welcoming hotel inside the walls of as small town.

This really charming hotel is in an excellent location within the small walled town of Montreuil-sur-Mer. There is plentiful free street parking nearby. The central courtyard is beautifully planted and a lovely place to relax in the evening. The staff were hugely welcoming and courteous, They gave my elderly father a ground floor room which he much appreciated while my husband and I had one on the first floor, with the bathroom up a second flight of stairs within the room. The decoration was elegant and the pillows and beds very comfortable. The hotel offers a plentiful and delicious breakfast with an additional option for cheese and meat if you like. We found the breads, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and boiled eggs more than enough! Although there is no restaurant in the evening, there is a wide choice of places to eat in the town nearby. We heartily enjoyed our short break. Although only a short drive from the Eurotunnel at Calais, it really felt that we had entered a different land. Much gratitude to our hosts.

Elegant stay in a beautiful town.

Stylish hotel tucked away on a quiet street just by the ramparts and very near the shops and restaurants of the centre. The staff were charming.

Everything was excellent about the hotel. Easy access to centre of the town with good range of bars and restaurants.
