Beautifully appointed cottage. We really appreciated the shortbread and bowl of fruit, thank you. The bed was so warm and comfortable. Marilyn was very helpful and told us the interesting tinker history of the cottage. Midwinter Clyde is a tranquil little spot with clear quiet crispy nights. Oliver’s top class restaurant is adjacent the Cottage.

Another nice stay at Tinkers Cottage. A wonderful piece of history in Clyde and the location cannot be beaten.
Clyde is extremely cold in the winter (part of its beauty and charm) but keeping the cottage warm with an oil heater probably isn't enough. The sheets had holes in them, which I do not think is acceptable, even in a rustic style accommodation.

Very cute old cottage….walking distance to eateries and river walks. At this time of year, not many people , so lovely and quiet.
An easy chair or couch but actually there is no room for such! A pair of scissors would be helpful. Some ground coffee for the plunger. ( but we had taken our own)

Love the old stone cottage feel.
Would love to light the fire. Space was a bit tight; there was nowhere to put suitcases.
