This property was spacious, quiet, well run, and very nice. The village of Morfa Nefyn is quite large with many properties, many of which are holiday lets and it has a feel of a normal village. It is about a 10 minute walk from a lovely beach with a pub and public toilets and some decent sand in a well sheltered bay. It is 2 min walk to a local co-op shop and petrol station. Although some reviews have mentioned the dust and cobwebs, this did not in any way detract from the house as a whole. It is Eileen's home and we felt like we were welcomed to a home as soon as we arrived. We had the best sleeps of our lives. You could probably fit 2 cars in the drive and there is a spacious garden with a 6-seater table. We were lucky enough to be there on the partial eclipse which was fantastic. The two bathrooms were lovely and clean and welcomed after days on the beach. There is everything you would need to cook in the kitchen and we made meals each night and age outside. I would definitely stay here again.
It might have been my fault but I could not find the address on any of the booking papers or website at all, so we actually went up and down the street on empty holiday homes trying to get into their key locks..... we looked like burglars. We eventually found the address. Eileen was driving home after cleaning the property whilst we were trying to get through to her but she couldn't answer the call, but she did as soon as she got home so did get back to us when she could. Also, the fridge is a little worn - still cold and works, but no door trays for bottles. Other than that no complaints at all.

The cottage is situated on a calm street, and has an excellent garden with BBQ facilities. We loved the location as we could visit all our favourite parts of the Llyn including Hell's Mouth and Carn Fadryn. It's a short distance from a. Excellent walk up Yr Eifl. We enjoyed the self catering facilities and the space in the cottage was fantastic for four people.
We had no issues with the cottage, but due to unforeseen circumstances it was difficult to contact the owner until we contacted cottages.com. Booking.com should offer two contact numbers for this reason and should share the key code and house number to reduce stress for the owners and holiday makers alike.
