Villa Oleana

Our family of 6 stayed in Villa Oleana for just over a week. We knew that the Villa is beautiful from the photos but we found it even better in reality. It looks very new, with modern interior, pretty living areas. What we particularly liked is that each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet, this is so convenient. We also loved that each room has a balcony. Also it is very nice to have a separate entrance for the 1st floor. It makes it very convenient for two families/groups to have separate living areas and kitchens. But the biggest highlight is the outside space. The sitting area under the big tree is amazing. And the swimming pool with the view over the sea and the mountains. There is enough space to park a few cars (we parked two). Some people may consider it a disadvantage that the villa is on a hill but for us it was a bonus because the views are amazing and it is also quite far from the hustle and bustle of Makarska centre so very quiet. It is best to have a car to go around the area though. We sometimes walked to the beach and back but going back under the scorching sun is not for everyone. And last but not least, our communication with the hosts was very smooth and we had no issues whatsoever. We just wished we could stay longer!

Propreté confort et belles prestations

The villa is fantastic. It is a very beautiful house, with absolutely everything you could possibly need during your stay. It has been decorated and equipped with a lot of attention and care. The interior is very spacious and perfect for a larger family or 2 families to stay for a longer period. The hosts have gone above and beyond to make it welcoming, cozy, convenient and comfortable. The outside areas are also very beautiful with wonderful flowers and trees, including an ancient olive tree. The whole place smells and looks just amazing. The pool area is not large but provides everything you might need for a fun or relaxing day at the pool, including a nice view of Makarska harbour and Hvar island. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and can highly recommend Villa Oleana.

There is nothing particular that we didn’t like. For us there was nothing negative to point out, but one thing to be aware of is the fact that the house is on a rather steep hill, quite far from the local beaches. We had to use cars to get anywhere really. But we were fully aware of this before arrival so it was not a surprise.

The house, swimming pool, working air conditions on every living room and each bed room, extremely, well equipped, nice view and quiet area.
