Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

We visited this cabin for a weekend trip. It was as described in the reviews. You definitely need 4 wheel or all-wheel drive to access the cabin and expect to do a little back and forth turning to get in and out of it. There are plug in heaters that work very well. Just know to look for them in the closet. We really only slept there and had coffee in the morning so didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin. There is no internet and service is spotty so don't expect to watch tv. I believe they had a DVD player so bring a movie if you want. This rental is a good value and is very close to Deep Creek Winery!!! :) Bryson City is about a 15 minute drive, so not bad.

A quaint cabin in a beautiful setting. Pefect for two wekenders. The cabin was close to town and offered just what we wanted. We would surely try it again.

Overall it was a good cabin. Had some cobwebs and smelled musty but we aired it out so that was good. Driveway up to it you definitely need a 4wheel drive.
