Hacienda na Orave

We really liked the vibe of the place. It’s classy, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and airy, and has most of the things you would normally have at home. The welcome gift was a lovely surprise and an unexpected addition to our stay. Thank you to the proprietor! 😀 The location was quiet and peaceful, very close to the Polish border, with plenty of options for both shorter walks and longer hikes in the surrounding area. We also had the special bonus of watching the partial solar eclipse, with a great viewing spot just a three-minute stroll up the hill. Shortly afterwards, we were lucky enough to enjoy the Perseid meteor shower as well. With very little light pollution in the area, the night sky was absolutely beautiful and perfect for stargazing. The kids especially enjoyed the hot tub and the swing. The grill on the terrace was very convenient and added to the overall relaxing atmosphere, making our family evenings even more enjoyable.

- we were missing small bowls for cereal in the morning, beer glasses and standard drinking glasses for water. Everything else was provided in abundance. 😀👌 - 2 bathrooms
