About this house rental
Our cozy StrandGut vacation home features a lovingly furnished kitchen on the first floor, a dining and living area with a wood-burning stove, a spacious, charming bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. There is also an utility room with a washer and dryer, as well as a guest restroom. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms—one with two single beds and one with a comfortable sleeper sofa. This floor also features a guest restroom with a sink. The garden covers about 1,000 square meters and, with its mature trees, is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing. In the village of Altfunnixsiel, there’s a village shop for small purchases that’s open during the season. Larger shopping trips can be made in Wittmund, 7 kilometers away, or in Carolienensiel. Carolienensiel (5 kilometers) is a beautiful little town with a historic harbor from which boat trips to the Wadden Sea are available. The nearest beach, in Harlesiel, is 7 kilometers away. Mudflat hikes from there and ferry trips to the islands of Spiekeroog and Wangerooge are also among the exciting excursion options.
