Barandi Urbasa

Het is een zeer ruime villa met grote omheinde tuin. Heel netjes en schoon. Wij waren met 8 personen en het was heel prettig dat er drie badkamers waren. De keuken voorziet in alles wat je nodig hebt met ruime aanwezigheid van servies. Erg fijn met een groot gezelschap. De host is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Heeft veel info en tips over de omgeving, reageert snel en is goed bereikbaar. Hij informeerde regelmatig of alles naar onze zin was. De kinderen vonden de aanwezige tennisbaan erg leuk hoewel de vloer wel een renovatie kan gebruiken.

Als je grote steden wil bezoeken zit je ruim drie kwartier of langer in de auto. Als je dat geen probleem vindt is de ligging prima. Het ligt dichtbij een groot natuurgebied. Een minpunt is dat we iedere nacht blaffende honden hoorden die hier een groot deel van de nacht mee door gingen. Mogelijk kwam het uit nabij gelegen dorp.

The Villa is a beautiful and traditional place to stay. We stayed as a group of 10 in July and had a great experience. Its located in the middle of Bilbao (1 hour 15 mins away by car), San Sebastian (50 mins), Vitoria Gasteiz (40 mins) and Pamplona (45 mins). Its at the foot of the mountains which are lovely and perfect for hikers, trailer runners and nature lovers in general. The facilities here were great - there was a pool, tennis courts, pool table, ping pong table, BBQ and a treehouse for the kids. Two lovely long balconies at the front and rear and lovely spots outside to relax and socialise. The host was very attentive, provided everything asked for and lived not too far away and his communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this villa to others and would happily stay again.

If i was to mention some small improvements it would be this and please bear in mind that we stayed during a heatwave where average temperatures were 39 degrees. I would recommend air conditioning and also something to manage the flies (if possible). On a seperate note a metal bucket to clear away the used charcoal from the BBQ would be helpful and larger towels for the bathrooms and sun loungers. The local town itself was a little too quiet and didnt really cater for tourists in my opinion so you would ideally need to drive or do most of your cooking in the Villa.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana en familia maravilloso en esta casa y no podemos estar más contentos con la experiencia. La casa es estupenda: estaba impecable, muy limpia y súper bien equipada. La cocina es grande y comodísima, perfecta para preparar comidas en grupo, y el comedor también es amplio, ideal para disfrutar todos juntos sin agobios. Además, la calefacción funciona de maravilla, algo que se agradece muchísimo para estar a gusto en cualquier época del año. El exterior es simplemente impresionante. Es muy grande y ofrece un espacio fantástico para estar al aire libre, que los niños jueguen y los mayores podamos relajarnos y disfrutar del entorno con total tranquilidad. Pero si hay algo que marca la diferencia es la atención recibida. Aritz, la persona que se encarga de la casa, lo pone todo facilísimo desde el primer momento. Está súper pendiente, disponible para cualquier duda y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Da muchísima tranquilidad saber que tienes a alguien así detrás, cuidando cada detalle. Sin duda, repetiremos. ¡Totalmente recomendable!
