Mixed feelings, we won't rent it next time.

Location is excellent

Poor outdated facilities (toilet, shower, lighting). Bad internet connection ( wifi was turned off in the night) and signal is very low in some parts if the house. The whole house need upgrading). The room we stayed initially for few days was not that we booked (it was claustrophobic, on ground level with no see view (no view at all); Later we were given much better apartment on the upper level)

It was nice experience

Jelsa has everything what you need for pleasant and mindfull stay: shops, restaurants, icecream, variety of beaches (sand, gravel, rocks), boat to visit Split or island Brač, public buses to Hvar and Stari Grad. There are Summer theater and cultural events and a lot of content for families with kids. You can recreative swimm few kilometres next to the cost. There is nice walking area. Also is pet friendly. For pleasant stay you don't need a car at all as everything is there. For all night parties you should go somewhere else. Host is very nice and friendly. She provided us twice with free eco vegetables and once with homemade chocholade cookies and lemonchelo. Also she provided everything what we needed extra in the kitchen. There is sheet/towel changing every week. Internet is very good. If you don't like air conditioning (as we) you can open all dors and windows and you will have the natural one.

Taxi is too expensive in Hvar. Buses from Jelsa to Hvar (city) have a stop at farry harbour in Stari Grad and ferry is always late, so journey Hvar (city)-Jelsa had take few hours even is a short distance between. There is only one boat (catamaran) per day to reach Split, Bol (island Brač) and back. Apartmant is very nice and on ground flor. But there is closed unfinished balcony as a part of the apartment: There is potential great see view. At the moment, there is no see view in appartement (except a bit from kitchen window), terrace is small without view and you can hear or see guests from other appartements while on terrace. There is improvised wall between two grounded appartments. But for us wasn't a big problem acctualy as other guests were very polite and calm. If you are mostly out of the appartement, this is not a big deal. You can have your chlotes washed at host only by extra charges (there is no washing machine in the appartement).

Izbegavacemo ovaj smestaj ubuduce.

Jedino je lokacija dobra, ostalo je sve bas lose. Izbegavati ovaj smestaj, jedino zbog lokacije i orjentacije, treba gledati smestaj u okolini.

Nismo mogli da nadjemo objekat odmah, jer nema vidljivog obelezja. Navigacija nam nije radila, posle vise pokusaja, od prolaznika smo posle pola sata nasli smestaj jer nam domacin nije dostavio broj telefona. Namestaj je star, kao za tri osobe, a realno ima bracni krevet i pomocni lezaj koji je neudoban. Terasa premala, bez pogleda i sunca. Kuhinja stara, sa veoma skromnom opremom. Zvucna izolacija jako losa, sve stanare smo culi i domacicu kako od rane zore usisava i sprema druge apartmane. Parking je trebalo da bude obezbedjen uz kucu, ali nije jer je bilo previse auta a ulica veoma, veoma uzana. Gospodja koja je domacica je bila veoma neprijatna. Doplata za klimu nas je iznenadila, na to nismo odmah obratili paznju.
