Great location but freezing room

It was great location and the staff were very friendly

Our room was absolutely freezing! As soon as we came in we put the heating on but it didn’t seem to do much it felt as though it was windy in our room so we went to the window and there was a massive draft luckily there was draft stoppers in the cupboard but no warning or any sign on where they would be. We only found them because there wasn’t a sheet for the pulldown sofa which we needed as there was 3 of us. When we contacted the hotel there wasn’t a reply however we found a different phone number and the staff member came quickly and was really lovely!

Clean spacious rooms in a perfect location in the heart of Tenby. Right on the sea front so we had some lovely views (despite the weather!)

Nothing apart from the room was quite chilly to start with but after a while it gradually warmed up.

Great location

Location was great, only a short walk into Tenby Town Centre. South beach is only a short walk away. The bed was comfortable. It was what we expected for the price we paid.

The room was a little dated and the kitchen equipment was also dated but worked for what we needed it for.

Dated and dirty

Location is great. Staff friendly.

Smelled like cigarettes. Cold tap in kitchen does not work. Light above bathroom mirror does not work. Significant wear-tear to the carpets. Bathroom sink taps green with mold. Windows dirty. Rooms in need of significant improvements to modernise. When paying over £100 a night you’d expect the rooms to function. Needs modernising and tlc.

It was fine, we made it as good as we could just some elements could’ve been avoided

The location was great

We had a long drive, we tried to get into our room to see that someone else was there, had to ring the porter to find us a new room which was done quite quickly but it wasn’t the greatest start and then also a guest had a dog that didn’t stop barking for the whole time we were there woke us up at about 5am which wasn’t great with a 4yr old

Quiet apartment with sea views

The apartment was at the top of the building, so lots of stairs to carry luggage, but the sea views were great from the dormer windows. Apartment was quiet, clean, and spacious. Could access catch-up apps on the TV.

Boiler didn't seem to warm radiators up that much, apartment was on the cool side but not chilly.

Carnock seafront

Fantastic location. We were able to leave the sash window open, meaning that we fell asleep and woke to the sound of the sea. It was clean, warm and safe. Would definitely stay again.

Not much. The room was a little bit on the basic side, particularly in the kitchen area, but for a seafront stay in Tenby, it was spot-on for the price.

Great pet friendly stay

Large room and had everything we needed. Over looking the sea and great location just a short walk to the town. The views over the sea/beach are great and easy to access the beach just opposite the hotel. We stayed for a long weekend with our puppy and it was great. The whole of Tenby is very dog friendly. These rooms are basic but we didn't expect the Ritz when they accept pets. You can use the Clarence Hotel bar/beer garden next door and take the dog with you. All staff especially the cleaners very friendly and can't do enough. We will definitely be returning

We travelled with our dog as these rooms are pet friendly. Some parts of the room could do with updating but we didn't expect 5*, so nothing that spoiled our stay. Photos on Booking.com are of 2 different rooms, both very similar but confusing as we thought we had been given the wrong room, we made reception aware.We had a leak from the window while there and had to put a bowl to catch the water. No big deal to us. We were offered an alternative room but it didn't bother us, after all, these buildings are old and we did have a storm!

Good location but noisy and not very clean

Location was great and happy it was pet friendly to bring along my little dog, nice sea view.

Expensive for what you get, rooms/on suites need a revamp I stayed in CO1 and it was right next to the door everyone enters through. The door slams behind after you, so had this banging everynight at all hours a simple soft close would fix this. Bedding had stains on, pillows were old and lumpy, carpet had lots of stains. Not the cleanest, no hand soap, no hairdryer. Would expect better considering it was just short of £400 for 3 nights. A lot of noise outside too, I know this is no fault of the accommodation itself but don’t stay here if you don’t want shouting outside your window at 1/2am.

Awful

Good location

Upon entrance we could see a staff room next door with no door on it and through out the night all we could hear was people banging in there keeping us up. All the bedding was dirty and the beds were uncomfy. One of the beds was actually out of order meaning 2 people had to squeeze onto one bed. One of the guests has a slight nut allergy which meant they couldn’t sleep in the main bedroom as it was full of pistachio nuts left from the last guests uncleaned. In one of the bathrooms there was a leak leading straight onto the toilet and the curtains did not cover the full window meaning the lights kept on 24/7 blared into our rooms rendering it even harder for us to go to sleep. The cutlery and glasses kept in the draws were also uncleaned. It seemed the room was not cleaned at all anywhere.

It was perfect just what my sister and I needed .

Location was spot on ,know Tenby very well and have stayed here previously .

No soap to wash your hands with and a big light outside our window which was on all night literally beaming in so bright even behind the curtains .

The view was outstanding. Good shower and comfortable bed. Good entertainment in the main hotel. It's lovely to have a little kitchen area and fridge but still have the hotel experience.
