Exceptional: A Hidden Gem – Even Better Than the Photos!
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lago Verde in Peračko Blato, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The house exceeded all expectations – even better than the beautiful photos, which is rare!
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The home is equipped to an exceptionally high standard – we wanted for nothing. The kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms have spacious ensuites ,beautiful livingroom and the entire property was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and charming pool house created the perfect space for relaxation and enjoyment.
The location is simply stunning. Just a few steps away are the peaceful Bacina Lakes, where we could take the bikes or kayaks provided and explore at our leisure. The setting is quiet, traditional, and ideal for unwinding, yet still just a short drive to the coast and charming tourist towns nearby. There is a small shop a short walk away for essentials, a larger town 10 min drive if you would like a supermarket.
Our host Vederan was incredibly friendly, warm, welcoming, and very helpful. He and his charming son Luca gave us beautiful gifts of produce they grew , grapes, figs ,honey, oil. They offered restaurant recommendations where we were looked after extremely well ,and gave us local tips – yet always respectful of our privacy.That balance made our stay even more enjoyable. It is very clear that all our host genuinely wanted was for us to enjoy our holiday . I felt that i could ask for anything.
This is the kind of place you just want to keep it as your own secret escape. We felt completely relaxed while enjoying total comfort and luxury of the beautiful villa. We can’t recommend Largo Verde enough and will definitely be back!

Vedran and Tatiania were fantastic hosts alongside their son Luca. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Vedran even met us on route to show us the best route to the house and then showed us a short cut the supermarket. The house itself is stunning. The pictures dont do it justice and we couldnt have asked for more. Vedran kept us in touch throughout our stay and even invited us to dinner and made us amazing wood fired pizzas. The house is located in a quite village with a small shop 5 min walk away selling fresh bread and all essentials you need. Vedran allowed us use of his kayaks and paddleboard on the stunning Bacina lakes, which are 100 metres from the house. There are 2 cafes on the lake which are easy to kayak to or use the 4 mountain bikes and cycle the lakes path to get there. There is a swimming pontoon close by and the lakes are lovely to swim or dive in.
All the amenities in the house are well serviced by Vedran and the pool is stunning. There are a choice of places to eat around the house dependent on which amazing view you want to look at. The pool house has an amazing traditional croatian wood fired oven which Vedran was happy to supply us wood for. (There is also a gas bbq should you prefer)
A car is needed if you wish to visit the numerous Dalmatian beaches which range from 20 to 30mins away.
To top off our amazing stay, Vedran and Tatiania provided us with numerous gifts for our return journey such as home made olive oil and beautiful lavender bags which was extremely unexpected and most generous of them.

Everything! What an amazing house! Beautifully designed, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a holiday away from home, extremely clean. The pool area was amazing with a separate pool house for dining and a second kitchen. Vedran and Tatiana were wonderful hosts. Not only did they invite us for drinks on arrival, they also cooked us pizzas in their wood fired pizza oven for dinner one evening.
